(Minghui.org) After the horrifying discovery of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners and the immediate cremation of their bodies to destroy the evidence was exposed on April 4, 2006, the Falun Dafa Association and the Minghui/Clearwisdom website founded the "Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China" (CIPFG, also called "Coalition to Investigate the Persecution"). CIPFG collects information from those willing to come forward. CIPFG asks people who know the facts to further expose the crimes concerning illegal organ harvesting in China. We call on all kindhearted people of conscience to lend your help in exposing the facts of this vicious persecution of Falun Gong practitioners inside the secret concentration camps, forced labor camps, prisons and hospitals in Mainland China. The sooner this atrocity is fully exposed, the sooner this brutal persecution will end. The following is information that came to light recently.

Investigation Lead: The People's Hospital of Beijing University Takes Less Than Two Weeks to Obtain Donor Liver

Several days ago, my friend told me that his relative suffered from liver cancer. He was going to have surgery at the People's Hospital of Beijing University (located in Xizhimen). Surprisingly, a liver was available after two weeks. In one month, he was provided with the choice of two livers. Recently, it was said that the hepatobiliary surgery department and general surgery department took charge of the surgery. The writer went to a transplant agency for inquiry.

Question: I want to ask for some information about transplant surgery. Are there more operations taking place here?

Doctor: Our hospital and General Hospital of the People's Armed Police Forces in Beijing are the leading hospitals for performing liver transplants. We have done lots of liver transplants. We have the priority to obtain livers.

Question: Can the patients stay in the hospital right away?

Doctor: The patients will live in the hospital as soon as they arrive. We will treat it as an emergency.

Question: How long does the patient have to stay in the hospital before the surgery?

Doctor: If you have a donor liver, we can do it immediately.

Question: If not, how long will it be?

Doctor: It is hard to say. We have one every month. Normally, it takes one week or two weeks to get the livers. If your blood type is AB or O, the time will be longer.

Question: How much will it be?

Doctor: 500,000 yuan

Question: What is the highest price for that [if I want priority]?

Doctor: Some people pay one or two million yuan.

Investigation Lead: Organs Sold Privately in Tianjin City--General Hospital of the People's Armed Police Forces in Beijing Performs Liver Transplant

In 2009, during the first half year, the General Hospital of the People's Armed Police Forces in Beijing performed a liver transplant for my relative. Shen Zhongyang sold the liver directly to him. The cost was 300,000 yuan. Neither a receipt nor a agreement for an organ donation were available. They don't tell the patient the source of the organ.
