(Minghui.org) On April 13, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Li Xiyun, a retired officer from Weibei Prison, went to the prison with her relative to ask for her wages which have been illegally withheld for a long time. She was arrested by officers from Weibei Police Station with the collusion of Weibei Prison and detained in Hanting District Brainwashing Center for over forty days. She is now very weak and can hardly eat anything.
One night in early April, Ms. Li Xiyun and her relative went to the warden of Weibei Prison's home. The prison warden was at home but he refused to see them and told his family to talk to them. A few days later on April 13, they went again to Weibei Prison and met with the director of Human Resources. As soon as they finished talking, the police gathered around them. The police took Ms. Li and her relative to a vehicle. Her relative was sent to Weifang Detention Center (she is now at home). Ms. Li was not accepted by the detention center because she was diagnosed with illnesses including heart disease. Instead, she was sent to Hanting District Brainwashing Center.
Ms. Li Xiyun was a level three police inspector at Weibei Prison before her retirement. Before practicing Falun Gong, she suffered from thirteen illnesses including heart disease, rheumatoid arthritis, half her body was numb, neurasthenia, gynecological disease, as well as other conditions. After she started practicing Falun Gong, all her diseases were miraculously cured. She required of herself to act in accordance with the standards of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance. Due to the lack of female officers in the prison, she handled all the family visiting meetings for more than 350 female inmates. At work, she was impartial and refused to take bribes.
Ms. Li Xiyun used to have a happy family. Her husband is also a police officer in Weibei Prison. Her daughter, Kong Sin, graduated from nursing school. She was born with early childhood sepsis and was very frail growing up, so she started practicing Falun Gong with her mother. All her diseases were cured. After Jiang Zemin and the evil CCP started persecuting Falun Gong, Ms. Li and her daughter refused to give up cultivation. Since the beginning of the persecution, mother and daughter have been illegally arrested and imprisoned time and time again. They lost their jobs and their wages were also withheld. Ms. Li's husband was also suspended from his job. Under great pressure, he was forced to divorce her.
From January 2000 to July 2008, Ms. Li was arrested twelve times during a twelve-year period. She was also extorted out of more than 15,000 yuan. Beginning in July 2002, she has been displaced from her home for nearly ten years.
On May 13, 2004 her daughter and her fiance Li Jiangang were supposed to be married. While they were preparing for their wedding, at 1 a.m. on April 26, a group of special agents surrounded their home. Under extremely critical circumstances, Ms. Li and her daughter climbed over the wall and escaped. At 11 o'clock that night, Li Jiangang was illegally arrested on his way home. His home was ransacked by National Security agents. All his property, including a van, two motorcycles and money for the wedding were taken.
In July 2008, just before the Olympics, Ms. Li and her daughter were illegally arrested again. Refusing to give up her belief, her daughter Kong Sin was brutally beaten, force-fed and subjected to the death bed. She was sentenced to nine years in prison and is still detained in Jinan Women's Prison.
After Ms. Li escaped, she was again displaced from her home. She took various part-time jobs to make a living and kept clarifying the truth to her employer. She never would have thought that her colleagues, friends and supervisors would become criminals that frame and persecute her.
