(Minghui.org) Coordinators A and B had been having conflicts with each other for quite some time. Coordinator A even tried to avoid meeting or encountering B. In order to solve the problem, coordinator A invited practitioners from another city as mediators to persuade B to change. However, the conflict between them became more serious and coordinator B refused to meet with A. When I heard about what was happening, I wanted to talk to them and also to share my experiences with other practitioners.
Both coordinators A and B have given me a lot of help in the past. Are they good coordinators? I think they are. Both are great coordinators.
In the area where we live, small-scale truth-clarification material sites have been established "like flowers blossoming everywhere." All practitioners are diligently working on doing the three things that Master asks of practitioners. It is impossible to accomplish this kind of achievement without coordinators' help and contributions. I always thought that I was good at computers. However, I still need their help when I have computer problems. For example, my computer once required a system re-installation. A coordinator and practitioner C, who knew computers well, came to my home. Some problems occurred during the installation. We spent the entire morning dealing with the problems, but were still unable to resolve them. We sent forth righteous thoughts, but it was useless. Practitioner C then invited another practitioner to help solve the problems. After everything was completed, it was almost 4:00 p.m. I felt bad that they had to spend so much of their time. I said to them, “I am sorry to waste so much of your time.” They said, “You are welcome. Your problem is our problem.” I nodded and said nothing. From their behavior and attitude, I learned that I should help other practitioners just like they helped me.
They have helped my material production site many other times. This is only one of many such sites in our city. How much time and effort they have put in for all the sites! As a regular practitioner, we have some time to study the Fa every day. How much time do they have? Master selected them to be coordinators because they have the abilities to manage local manpower and resources. If someone else was in their positions, they might not be able to perform the work and maintain their cultivation progress. I don't believe that regular practitioners should criticize the coordinators when we see their problems. Instead of judging who is right or wrong, we should only search inward. Otherwise, the old forces will take the chance to make the problems worse.
Whenever a conflict occurs between coordinators, the first thing for both sides to do is to calm down and study the Fa. Both sides should not look for support from other practitioners or hope other practitioners will stand on their side. If others are not aware of the conflict, it could be solved much more easily. If more practitioners are involved, the old forces will take advantage of everyone's loopholes and make everyone argue nonstop, causing interference with saving sentient beings.
The above is my personal opinion. I have some other suggestions from my understanding of Master's lectures. We should:
1. Look within when faced with conflicts. We should definitely be able to find our attachments.
2. Take one step back and rectify ourselves first. An ancient Chinese story describes a general, Lian Po, carrying thorn bushes to send his apology to Lin Xiangru. Isn't the ancient story a reference for our cultivation? An everyday person may behave like this, but Dafa disciples should do even better. What kind of conflict could not be solved between practitioners? Cultivation is to improve ourselves. It is not to impress others! We should not forget Master's teaching to cultivate ourselves, especially when conflicts occur.
3. Coordinate well and cherish the predestined relationships with other practitioners.
4. Treat every practitioner with compassion.
We should cherish every practitioner and all of our coordinators. Since the persecution started, the coordinators have not only cultivated themselves, but also arranged the work to help save sentient beings. They are under much more pressure than regular practitioners. How can we not cherish them? How can we keep criticizing coordinators' attachments without looking inward? Our cultivation path is about continuously ridding ourselves of attachments. Before the final consummation, every practitioner may still have certain attachments and karma. We all know we should eliminate our own attachments. It is unnecessary to be overly-concerned about others' attachments.
Lastly, I have some suggestions about the discussion topics among practitioners. They should focus on experience sharing, the learning process, how to overcome tribulations, and how to promote each other instead of discussing the shortcomings of other practitioners or events of daily life. In this way, conflicts among practitioners will be minimized.
The above is my personal understanding. If there is anything improper, please kindly point it out.
