Ms. Meng Guilan from Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Arrested Again

(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Meng Guilan from Chifeng City was arrested on the evening of August 22, 2013, when she was on her way to Tuchengzi, in the area of Kelaqin Qi. Kelaqin Qi authorities prepared for this arrest and waited to arrest her and the driver at the same time. Her family had received a note regarding the detention from the Kelaqin Qi Police Department. Ms. Meng is currently being detained at the Jinshan Detention Center in Kelaqin Qi.

Ms. Meng, 67, was trapped by an evildoing person on the afternoon of May 11, 2013, on the third street at Hongshan region, and was later arrested by the Hongshan police. The police searched her home and confiscated some of her personal belongings. Ms. Meng was detained and persecuted for a month. She was again detained and persecuted two months later.

Liu Zhenting, the Kelaqin Qi Domestic Security Division head, along with deputy head Wang Huilong, have been involved in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. Many practitioners who came from outside of town were detained and sentenced to imprisonment or sent to a labor camp, including Ms. Yang Cuiling, in her sixties, from Yuanbaoshan, Ms. Wang Xiufang, a teacher from Wujia Township, and Ms. Ning Lihong from Ningchen. Ms. Yang and Ms. Wang were sentenced, and served their sentences at the women's prison in Huhhot City. Ms. Ning Lihong was detained and sent to a labor camp for a year.

Kelaqin Qi police officers Liu Zhenting and Wang Huilong have recently arrested Ms. Meng. Ms. Meng is being persecuted for practicing Falun Gong, and striving to be a good person.
