Police Chief Understands the Truth about Falun Dafa

Oct. 8, 2013 |   By a Falun Dafa practitioner in Liaoning Province, China

(Minghui.org) On July 19, 2013, a practitioner was recorded by a street-monitoring camera spraying a message on the street with the facts about Falun Dafa. Afterward, he was called to the police station by the police chief. Although, he was not held there, his car was unlawfully detained.

When he looked inward, he realized that he had an attachment of zealotry with regard to diligently validating the Fa. Thus, the evil took advantage of his shortcoming. However, validating the Fa is not wrong! Any omission he may have had during his validation of the Fa should be rectified within Dafa and he should not be persecuted.

This fellow practitioner and I decided to clarify the truthabout Falun Dafa to the police chief. We went to the police station, using the cover of asking for the car back.

The police chief said: “You sprayed the words 'Heaven will destroy the Chinese Communist Party' on the street in my region. Aren't you trying to make trouble for me?”

I replied: “Allow me to explain, Sir. When I was on my way back home from visiting my family graves two years ago, I came across two brickyard workers in Quarry Valley Village. They came from Guizhou Province. I asked them if they had heard about a big mountain stone in Zhangbu Township, Pingtang County, that had split. On the split side of this stone appeared characters that said 'Chinese Communist Party to be destroyed.' The workers confirmed seeing it.”

When I noticed that the chief was in doubt, I continued: “At that time, many experts investigated this occurrence.”

Then, the other practitioner chimed in and explained to the police chief that the Tienanmen Square self immolation incident was a fake--it had been staged by the regime to defame Falun Dafa. Otherwise, how can it be explained that so many extinguishers were already at the scene when the gasoline started burning?

We also spoke of the peaceful appeal by over 10,000 practitioners in Beijing on April 25, 1999, and the publication of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party.

The police chief then picked up a bag that contained informational materials about Falun Dafa and said: “I'll read these materials.”

My fellow practitioner continued: “We say and do things according to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. It is not wrong to tell people the truth!”

The police chief then said: “You talk about Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. I also tell the truth. Your uncle has your car. Your parents asked me not to tell you because they are worried that you might make troubles again once you have the car.”

He then added: “I always thought Falun Dafa practitioners were abnormal [for wanting to clarify the truth at risk of being persecuted], but now I understand why they can't just practice quietly at home.”

When we were ready to leave, the police chief personally walked us to the door. He indicated his willingness to chat with us again.
