(Minghui.org) Ms. Wei Jun from Daqing City was supposed to have been released from Heilongjiang Women's Prison after serving a 5 year sentence, but officers from the 610 Office quickly transferred to the Mishan City Brainwashing Center on August 27, 2013, approximately 500 miles away.
Ms. Wei went on a hunger strike several times to protest the torture that she was subjected to at the brainwashing center. Guards threatened her as she refused to renounce her belief, but she simply responded by yelling, “Falun Dafa is good!” They then grabbed her hand and tried to force her to sign a guarantee statement to stop practicing, but they failed.
Secretly moved, family not informed and worried
When Ms. Wei's family went to visit her at the Mishan City Brainwashing Center, she was no longer there. Her family had no idea of her whereabouts and were very worried about her. At about 8:30 a.m. on September 24, 2013, Ms. Wei was transferred to a new brainwashing center, which was recently set up by the Jixi City 610 Office in the Jixi Forced Labor Camp. There are two other practitioners being persecuted there.
