Nov. 6, 2013 |   By a Minghui correspondent in Shandong Province, China

(Minghui.org) Six Falun Gong practitioners from Dezhou were arrested on September 7, 2013, by officers from the Decheng Domestic Security Division. Ms. Xu Shiying was later released. The other five practitioners are being held at the Dezhou City Detention Center.

The detained practitioners are: Ms. Liu Yuxiu, Ms. Cheng Bi, Ms. Luo Baoying, Mr. Sun Xiuhai, and Ms. Guo.

The police ransacked Ms. Liu Yuxiu's home twice without notifying her family, and confiscated many of her personal belongings. A relative of Ms. Liu went to the police department with Ms. Liu's two young children to ask for her release. The police threatened them, saying, “We will detain you if you don't leave.”

The police claim that practitioners have been involved in organized crime, and the confiscated personal belongings are regarded as evidence. They have filed charges against the practitioners.
