(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 7 cities or counties in 6 provinces. According to this report, 8 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 9 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Three Practitioners Arrested, Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Zhu Ruiying, Ms. Ji Guangying, and Ms. Ge, over 60, went to Anhui No. 3 Prison to visit their fellow practitioners on October 30, 2013. Police officers arrested them when they spoke to passengers on a bus. They were being held at the Suzhou Detention Center. They were taken to Hefei City by 610 Office agents from Hefei three days later. There whereabouts are unknown.

2. [Longhua County, Hebei Province] Three Elderly Practitioners Robbed by Officer

Ms. Li Shuqin ,71, Ms. Liu Ruxia, 81, and Ms. Zhang Yuzhen, 76, were out walking on October 28, 2013, when Domestic Security Division officer, He Guochun stopped them. He grabbed their three bags, two mobile phones, three Dafa books, and a dozen truth-clarification brochures.

3. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Chen Yufei Detained

Mr. Chen Yufei was arrested when he talked to people about the persecution of Falun Gong on November 1, 2013. He is being held at the Benxi City Detention Center.

4. [Baise City, Guangxi ] Two Practitioners Sent to Brainwashing Center

Mr. Deng Zijiang and Mr. Huang Guangyu were arrested and taken to a brainwashing center on November 1, 2013.

5. [Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province] Mr. Tang Shiming and His Wife Mrs. Lin Bixia Sent to Brainwashing Center

Mr. Tang Shiming and his wife Mrs. Lin Bixia were arrested while they were talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong in Taiping Town, Suixi County, on October 29, 2013. They were detained in a brainwashing center at the Zhanjiang Drug Rehabilitation Labor Camp near the city airport.

6. [Huaihua City, Hunan Province] Mr. Li Kaizhi Arrested

Mr. Li Kaizhi was arrested on November 3, 2013.

7. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Five Practitioners Sentenced

Mr. Zhang Chengjie, Mr. Liu Junhua, Ms. Yang Kaixia, Mr. Zhang Zhimeng and Ms. Shang Lanling were framed by Lianshan District Chinese Communist Party agents in February 2012. They were arrested on February 25, 2012, tried on April 24, 2013, and sentenced on July 26, 2013. Mr. Zhang Chengjie was sentenced to 12 years in prison, Mr. Liu Junhua to five years, Ms. Yang Kaixia to five years, Mr. Zhang Zhimeng to four years and six months, and Ms. Shang Lanling to three years.
