The World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG) Releases the Names of the Sixth Group of Perpetrators

March 10, 2013

(Minghui.org) WOIPFG released the list of names of the sixth batch of perpetrators in the persecution of Falun Gong on March 3, 2013. The list is composed of three sections: 1887 people in the 610 Office, 2997 people in Political and Legal Affairs Committees, and 8841 units and 19,839 people for their participation in the arrest, detention, and torture of Falun Gong practitioners.

The units and people in the third section were filed and investigated by WOIPFG, and belong to Communist Party committees, Political and Legal Affairs Committees, 610 Offices, police departments, prosecution departments, the judicial system, prisons, and forced labor camps.

WOIPFG was established on January 20, 2003, to investigate the crimes of individuals, organizations and institutions in the persecution of Falun Gong and bring them to justice. In its mission statement, WOIPFG declares that it will investigate the criminal conduct of all institutions, organizations, and individuals involved in the persecution of Falun Gong; bring such investigations, no matter how long it takes, no matter how far and deep they have to search, to full closure; exercise fundamental principles of humanity; and restore and uphold justice.

When the list was released, WOPIFG stated that, since it began, it has searched for and collected criminal evidence of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)’s persecution of Falun Gong and constantly updated the list.

The goal of releasing these names is to motivate people to search for evidence of CCP persecution, to make that evidence public, and to prepare for justice to be served.

WOIPFG updates the numbers periodically and hands over reports to every government, judicial system, media, international criminal police organization, and the International Tribunal. These numbers are an important component in the judicial proceedings being conducted all over the world against the perpetrators.

According to WOIPFG, releasing the names also gives the perpetrators an opportunity to make amends for their crimes. If they regret what they have done and join the efforts to end the persecution, they and their families will benefit. Otherwise, they will face certain justice.

Since December 9, 2004, WOIPFG has released the names of those involved in the persecution of Falun Gong five times. The release of these lists has had big impact on the CCP. Many people on the lists contacted WOIPFG and expressed their intent to stop committing crimes and to name other perpetrators to make up for their own wrongdoings.

WOIPFG stated: “This information has been gathered over time. Today things might be different. If there is inconsistency between the names released and the actual situation, or if one does not participate in the persecution of Falun Gong anymore, or one now helps to protest the persecution, please contact WOIPFG and provide evidence. This organization will make corrections and change the record accordingly after confirmation.”
