(Minghui.org) I'm 72 years old and live in an urban area. I have four children and they have all been married. They all make a living on odd jobs, as did my spouse and I, as we didn't have formal occupations.

In 2000, I fell ill. I did not have the money to go to the hospital for an examination or treatment so I just went to a small pharmacy and bought some medicine. My condition then became worse. Whenever I ate one mouthful of food or drank one mouthful of water, I had severe sharp pains in my esophagus and stomach. If I tried to bear the pain and swallow some food, I would end up throwing up and spitting it all out. Sometimes I got so hungry that it became extremely painful. I would then bite my clothes or the blanket to relieve the pain. Sometimes I also took pain-relief injections. I started having blood in my stool, my face was an earthen yellow color, and I lost a lot weight. Although we had no money, my family decided to send me to a major hospital for an examination. I was diagnosed with late-stage stomach cancer, and the doctor basically told me to go home and prepare to die. After I went home, I could no longer get out of bed.

One day, two local Falun Gong practitioners came to see me and brought me the book Zhuan Falun. They read it with me every day and we finished all of the nine lectures in five days. In those five days, Master purified my body. I was throwing up and spitting up black blood, and I had loose bowels with black pieces of blood. After that, I could feel that my health was improving.

Then we watched the videos of the nine-day lectures. After watching them, in five days, I could get up and walk, and I could eat and drink. I no longer threw up and my stomach and esophagus gradually stopped hurting. Compassionate Master and the great Falun Dafa saved me from dying. I understood that Falun Dafa would have miraculous curing effects if I truly believed and sincerely cultivated.

The two fellow practitioners then played for me the DVD that teaches the exercise movements. As I was carefully learning the five sets of exercises, I felt there were many energy systems and rotating Falun moving around me. When I was doing the second exercise, in each of the four postures I felt big Falun rotating. I also saw Falun of all different colors shining and rotating in the entire room. It felt like Master was telling me that only if I insisted on practicing Falun Dafa, would I be able to understand his words,

“'The Buddha Fa' is most profound; among all the theories in the world, it is the most intricate and extraordinary science.” (“Lunyu,” Zhuan Falun)

Every day, the three of us read Zhuan Falun and did the exercises. In one week I learned all five exercises and the next week fellow practitioners took me to the exercise site. Just like this, after one year, my stomach cancer, anemia, periarthritis, rhinitis, otitis media, and cataracts were cured.

What happened to me was unbelievable to everyone around me. I became very energetic and healthy. I'm now 72 years old and look like I'm only a little over 50—not at all like someone who had late-stage cancer! This miraculous story of mine moved everyone in my family. My four children, four brothers and sisters, and other friends and family saw Falun Dafa's great power. They understood that Falun Dafa practitioners are honest, compassionate, forgiving, peaceful, and helpful people. On the other hand, the Chinese Communist Party slanders and persecutes Falun Dafa practitioners.

In 2005, I announced my withdrawal from the CCP. Among my family and friends, more than fifty others have also quit the CCP.

In the past ten years, I've been going out with fellow practitioners every day to help people quit the CCP. My family and friends happily recite, “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” We are very thankful to compassionate Master for saving us. Master picked me up from hell, gave me a new life, and made me a Falun Dafa practitioner of the Fa-rectification period.

I have been practicing Falun Dafa for eleven years. As a Falun Dafa practitioner of the Fa-rectification period, I must closely follow Master's Fa-rectification path, study the Fa well, do the three things well, and whole-heartedly put my effort on saving sentient beings. I'm determined that no matter what happens, I will firmly cultivate in Falun Dafa and assist Master in Fa-rectification.
