1. [Jianping County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Minfang Detained

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zhang Minfang from Wanshou Town was arrested on the morning of April 7, 2013, when she talked to people about Falun Gong at the market. She is now detained in Jianping County Detention Center.

2. [Guangzhou, Guangdong Province] Court Session is Opened on 80-year-old Ms. Yang Shuqin

Ms. Yang Shuqin was arrested and taken to a police station on March 24, 2012, for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong. Her home was ransacked afterwards.

Her family applied to have her released on bail. On April 3, 2013, the court opened a session on Ms. Yang Shuqin and she was asked several questions but only allowed to say yes or no.

The judge told her family they would have to wait a month to learn the outcome of the hearing.

3. [Jinshi, Hunan Province] Ms. Zhou Zelan and Ms. Li Mingxiu Detained

Recently, Ms. Zhou Zelan and Ms. Li Mingxiu, both in their 60s, were arrested. It is said that they are detained in a local detention center.

4. [Yantai, Shandong Province] Mr. Chen Anli Detained

Mr. Chen Anli was talking to people about Falun Gong on the afternoon of April 6, when he was arrested by officers from Fulai Police Station. Now he is detained in the No.2 Detention Center in Yantai.

5. [Linqu County, Shandong Province] Ms. Yi Tongmei and Ms. Zhang Su'e Detained

Ms. Yi Tongmei, Ms. Zhang Su'e and Ms. Liu were arrested in Changyue County by police and their homes were ransacked. Now Ms. Liu has returned home. Ms. Yi Yongmei and Ms. Zhang Su'e are still detained in a Changyue County detention center.

6. [Beijing] Ms. Wu Shixian Arrested

Ms. Wu Shixian, 72 years old, from Fengtai District, was arrested on the afternoon of April 8, when she was giving out Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs. Her home was ransacked.

7. [Changchun, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Yuanfang Arrested

Ms. Zhang Yuanfang was arrested on February 13, by officers from Jincheng Police Station. She returned home on April 5.

8. [Huangmei County, Hubei Province] Ms. Wu Liya Arrested

Ms. Wu Liyan was talking to people about the facts of Falun Gong on April 1, when she was arrested by officers from Longgan Lake Police Station and taken to Huangmei County Prison. On the afternoon of April 3, five police cars went to Ms. Wu's mother's house and police took away two computers, a printer and some Dafa books and truth-clarification materials. They arrested Ms. Wu's mother and another practitioner. The other practitioner was released after her home was ransacked.

9. [Dandong, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhou Gongqing Imprisoned

Ms. Zhou Gongqing, in her 60s, is being held in Ward No.1 in Liaoning Women's Prison.

10. [Huludao, Liaoning Province] Ms. Miao Huiyan and Ms. Chen Yujuan Arrested

Ms. Miao Huiyan and Ms. Chen Yujuan from Nuanchitang Town, Nanpiao District were talking to people about Falun Gong when they were arrested by officers from Nuanchitang Town Police Station.

11. [Fushun, Liaoning Province] Ms. Chen Yanyu Imprisoned

Ms. Chen Yanyu was sentenced and it is said that she is detained in Shenyang Women's Prison.

12. [Huangshi, Hubei Province] Mr. Luo Wen's Appeal Denied

Mr. Luo Wen appealed his wrongful seven-year-long case to Huangshi Intermediate Court in Hubei Province, but the court denied his appeal and upheld the original verdict.

13. [Anhua County, Hunan Province] Ms. Chen Ruizhen Returned Home After Being Tortured

Ms. Chen Ruizhen, who was arrested on March 11, returned home on March 21. During the time when she was detained, she was beaten, interrogated and slapped in the face multiple times by police.

14. [Tangshan, Hebei Province] Non-practitioner Ms. Zhu Haixia Detained

Ms. Zhu Haixia and Ms. Yao Ping, family members of Falun Gong practitioners, were arrested and their homes were ransacked in Tangshan on June 9, 2012. They had a small business and sold office supplies and many practitioners went to shop in their store.

Ms. Yao Ping was released on the night of June 9. Police ransacked Ms. Zhu's home and confiscated many truth-clarification materials and Dafa books.

15. [Xuchang, Henan Province] Ms. Zhang Ronghuan Detained

Retired worker Ms. Zhang Ronghuan was talking to people about Falun Gong and the persecution on the afternoon of April 1, when she was arrested and taken to Beida Police Station.

That evening, Xu Lina and ten personnel from the Domestic Security Division and 610 Office broke into her home and ransacked it. They took away Ms. Zhang's Dafa books and truth-clarification materials. Now she is detained in Gaoqiaoying Detention Center.

16. [Chifeng, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Shao Guizhen's Court Session Open

Yuanbaoshan District Court opened a court session on Ms. Shao Guizhen, Ms. Wang Jiufang and Ms. Gao Zhifan on March 13, 2013. However, the court did not inform their attorneys.

17. [Qi County, Shanxi Province] Ms. Dai Baolian, in Her 70s, Harassed and Threatened by Police

Ms. Dai Baolian is in her 70s. On the morning of June 12, 2012, Wu Jitui with police from the Qi County Domestic Security Division broke into her home. They took away a photo of Master Li, Dafa books and truth-clarification materials.

Police also took Ms. Dai Baolian into custody and held her in Qi County Police Station. Police threatened Ms. Dai, attempting to intimidate her into renouncing her faith. Since then, personnel from the Residential Committee and police station have often come to her home to harass her and monitor her activities.

Ms. Du Qingxiu has been detained in Xidaziying Detention Center for six months. A court session has been scheduled for April 12.

19. [Taiyuan, Shanxi Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Four practitioners—Ms. Li Mianzhen, Ms. Duan Fengqin, Ms. Huang Jinxiang, and Mr. Chen Yanhua—were distributing truth-clarification materials in Pengcun, Wanbailin District on the afternoon of April 6, when they were arrested by police from Wanbailin District Police Station.
