(Minghui.org) Practitioners in Sydney, Australia, held activities in the city's Chinatown, as well as in a large Chinese community in Hurstville, to expose the communist regime's persecution of Falun Gong in China. The two events were held on August 3 and 11, 2013.

Hurstville, nick named “Little Hong Kong,” is a major city to the south of Sydney. With more and more immigrants coming from China in recent years, both Mandarin and Cantonese can be widely heard across this community, as well as in Syndey's Chinatown.

August 11 th was a sunny day and streets were packed with locals. Falun Gong practitioners set up banners along the main streets forming a Great Wall of Truth to expose the Chinese regime's crime of live organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners.

Upon learning the facts, many local residents signed the petition to call on the Chinese regime immediately stop the persecution of Falun Gong.

People from All Walks of Life Support Falun Gong

Ms. Wu came from Beijing and has been living in Sydney for over 20 years. She owns a dress alternation store there.

“I believe the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) can do this kind of thing, taking organs from live Falun Gong practitioners,” she said. “That regime has been cruel to its own people all the time. At the beginning, it labeled the rich people as 'anti-revolutionist' and confiscated their properties to finance the process of establishing its authority. They [the communists] were thugs from the beginning.”

She added: “The Communist Party promotes atheism that destroyed the Chinese people's faith. It persecutes Falun Gong practitioners. When people no longer have faith, they dare to do anything. That is why the Chinese people worship money and believe that money is everything. The Communist Party has pushed China toward demoralization.”

She continued: “I like Falun Gong. They believe in truthfulness, compassion and tolerance and peacefully protest the persecution. I remembered one high-ranking Australian official once said that every nationality in Australia has its faith and every faith has God and Heaven. He supports people to have their faith and believes that faith is a factor to stabilize the community. But the Chinese Communist Party likes to use violent suppression [to maintain its power].”

A Vietnamese student from Queensland University said he was studying research on organ transplantation. He said that he has been aware of the illegal organ transplantation in China for a long time. “Harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners is a crime, and it shall never be tolerated or forgiven. They must be tried and punished,” he said. He took some informational materials and wrote down his email address to receive updates on this issue.

Lisa, a native Australian, read the display boards and signed the petition to support Falun Gong. She said to a practitioner: “Even at a time of democracy, the live organ harvesting crime can happen in China. For people living in a free country, it is hard to imagine that the Chinese Communist Party can do such an inhuman atrocity. We must tell our government to consider the human rights issue while doing business with the Chinese government, instead of focusing solely on making money. We must stop the Chinese Communist Party's inhuman deeds.”

used to work in the Railroad Workers' Union in Guangzhou City, China. He said that the Communist Party has done a lot of bad things and its ruling method is very bloody and brutal. Since it came to power, the Communist Party has caused tens of millions of people to die unnaturally (e.g., through murder and famine).

“I really respect Falun Gong practitioners' persistence and endurance,” said Mr. Shi. “The Chinese Communist Party will collapse sooner or later.”
