Mr. Hu Dongyuan, 63, was arrested by plainclothes police officers on the morning of July 25, 2013. He was detained in the Tongcheng County Detention Center and then taken to the Wuhan Brainwashing Center.

2. [Shaoyang City, Hunan Province] Mr. Wang Shengliang Detained

Mr. Wang Shengliang was recently arrested and taken to the Shaodong County Detention Center.

3. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Qi Fenglan and Ms. Chen Guiqin Detained

Ms. Qi Fenglan and Ms. Chen Guiqin were arrested by officers from the Yuhong District Huanghai Police Station on the afternoon of August 6, 2013. The police ransacked their homes. They are being held in the police station.

4. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Liu Jinxiang's Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Liu Jinxiang, 63, was arrested at home by officers from the Liuhe District Dachang Town 610 Office on the morning of August 2, 2013, and her home was ransacked. Her whereabouts are unknown.

5. [Liaocheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Fengqin and Ms. Ni Rujun Arrested

Ms. Wang Fengqin and Ms. Ni Rujun were arrested and taken to the Guan County Police Station by plainclothes officers on August 4, 2013. Ms. Wang's Falun Gong books and Ms. Ni's computer and printer were confiscated.

6. [Nanchong City, Sichuan Province] Ms. He Dongmei Arrested

Ms. He Dongmei was arrested at home by officers including Du Weijia from the 610 Office and Wulidian Community on August 6, 2013, and her computer and Falun Gong books were confiscated.

7. [Huangshi City, Hubei Province] Mr. Wang Xiangdong Detained

Mr. Wang Xiangdong was arrested and taken to the Yongqing Street Police Station on August 4, 2013. He is being held in the Xialu District.

8. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Yali's Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Zhang Yali, in her 50s, is retired. She was arrested at the Dalian City Train Station by officers from the train station at the end of January for speaking to people about Falun Gong. Her whereabouts are still unknown.

9. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Wu Kegui, Ms. Gu, and Ms. He were arrested in Weituotang Market by plainclothes officers on August 8 for speaking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

10. [Urumqi City, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region] Ms. Sun Li and her Granddaughter Taken to a Brainwashing Center

Ms. Sun Li was arrested at home by officers from the local police station on July 22, 2013. Her 9-year-old granddaughter was also arrested. They are being held in a brainwashing center located at the Banfanggou Workers' Sanatorium.

11. [Beijing] Ms. Chen Shulan Dying as a Result of Abuse

Ms. Chen Shulan was arrested at the end of 2012. The Changping District Court sentenced her to four years in prison on August 2, 2013. She was recently taken to the Police Hospital from the Changping Detention Center. Two of her vertebrae were fractured as a result of abuse.

12. [Shihezi City, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region] Mr. Liu Tao Detained

Mr. Liu Tao is an employee of the Tianlu Company. He was arrested at his office on the morning of August 7 and taken to a brainwashing center.

13. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Qu Bin Dying As a Result of Abuse

Mr. Qu Bin was arrested outside the Xigang District Court on August 2, 2013. He is being held in the Dalian City Detention Center. He is in critical condition because he is on a hunger strike to protest the persecution.

14. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Faying Arrested

Ms. Wang Faying, 75, was arrested by officers from the Changyi City Police Department on the morning of July 25 for distributing Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs. Officers confiscated her Falun Gong books and Falun Gong lecture DVDs, pictures of the founder of Falun Gong, materials pertaining to the persecution of Falun Gong, and an MP3 player. After extorting 3,000 yuan from her family, officers released her that evening.

15. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Lang Dafen and Ms. Chen Zhengping Arrested

Ms. Lang Dafen and Ms. Chen Zhengping were arrested on the morning of July 28, 2013.

16. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhan Haigang Arrested

Mr. Zhan Haigang was arrested on August 5 when he was moving out of Zhucheng City Zangjiatiegou. His electric tricycle and other items were confiscated.

17. [Rizhao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Xiqin Detained

Ms. Zhang Xiqin was arrested and taken to a detention center by officers from the Ju County Police Department on August 5, 2013.

18. [Meihekou City, Jilin Province] Four Practitioners Sent to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Wei and Ms. Han, both from Hongmei Town; Ms. Li Lianrong from Shancheng Town; and Ms. Wang Guiqin, in her 60s, from Hailong Town were arrested and taken to a brainwashing center.

20. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Four Practitioners Sent to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Sun Yuzhi and Ms. Shen Jinru were arrested by officers from the Yushu City 610 Office and Domestic Security Division on the afternoon of August 5, 2013. They were taken to the Jiwei Guest House Brainwashing Center.

Ms. Liu Fengming, an employee of the Yushu City Taxation Department, and Ms. Shen Ziqing, a store’s clerk, were arrested at their work places by officers from the 610 Office and Domestic Security Division on the morning of August 7, 2013. They were taken to a brainwashing center.

Ms. Mu Shufen was arrested by officers from the Anda City Domestic Security Division on the morning of August 7 for distributing Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs. She has been held in a detention center for 10 days.
