Liaoning Police Take Blood Samples and Fingerprints from Falun Gong Practitioners

Oct. 6, 2014

(Minghui.org) Since April of this year, the Chinese regime has been stepping up its pace of forcibly collecting blood and DNA samples from Falun Gong practitioners. This chilling development is widely believed to be related to the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) practice of forced organ harvesting, in which persecuted Falun Gong practitioners are essentially used as a living organ bank.

Sixteen cases of forced blood draws in the Dandong area of Liaoning Province alone have already been exposed on the Minghui website. Actually, these numbers are believed to be just the tip of the iceberg.

In a recent case, policewoman Gao Hui and two other policemen from the Huangtukai Police Station in Donggang City entered Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Lang Qinsheng's home on August 22 and lied to him to get him to submit to a blood draw and to be fingerprinted.

On the morning of August 20, officer Gao phoned Mr. Lang's wife, ordering her to have her husband report to the police station for a blood test. His wife went to the police station to reason to them and to talk to them about Falun Gong. Gao, in an apparently conciliatory gesture, told Mr. Lang's wife that they would not disturb them in the future.

Yet only two days later, Gao drove to Mr. Lang's home with two policemen. They falsely claimed that it was a requirement for everyone to submit to fingerprinting and a blood draw for a new version of identity card. They stated that this procedure had already been carried out on migrant workers.

Mr. Lang was deceived and let them take blood samples and his fingerprints. When Gao Hui was preparing to leave, Mr. Lang saw the word “criminal” on the back of the processing form.

When he questioned Gao about it, she replied, “It's none of your business. I just picked up a paper randomly.” Mr. Lang grabbed the form and tore it into pieces.
