(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners often host activities and join community events around the world to inform the public of the mind and body benefits of the practice and raise awareness of the persecution in China.

Below are reports from practitioners in New Zealand, Bangladesh, and Japan for November 1 to November 9.

Anti-Torture Exhibit in New Zealand

Practitioners in New Zealand ran an anti-torture exhibit in the city center of Auckland to illustrate the brutality of the persecution and condemn the state-sanctioned harvesting of organs from live practitioners in China.

New Zealander Clinton just moved to work in Auckland. Seeing the mock torture exhibit, he said, “This is disgusting! It's comparable to the atrocities against Jews in Nazi Germany.” He asked for more copies of Falun Gong brochures to give to his friends.

Miley, another visitor said that she had been following the persecution and would write to relevant New Zealand agencies to raise awareness of the issue and help end the persecution.

A woman from Taiwan said that she had heard of the organ harvesting crimes. She recalled, “A friend of mine went to China for a kidney transplant and returned to Taiwan with a new one. I know there's a live organ pool in China.” She said that she would tell her friends and family not to go to China for organ transplants because it's the same as killing.

Another woman stopped by at the exhibit and said that she and her husband have have been to Jilin Province in China. She said, “I'm clear that the so-called religious freedom in China is only superficial. The Communist Party is atheist. The Party-controlled religious institutions in China don't have any substance.”

Encountering Falun Gong in Bangladesh

Falun Gong practitioners share the practice with others wherever they go because they have benefited so much themselves.

Mr. Luo from Australia has been to Bangladesh several times. He teaches the Falun Gong exercises for free at public parks in Dhaka, the country's capital.

Jahid and Anwar recently started practicing Falun Gong. Jahid recently graduated from a university, and Anwar owns a local cloth factory.

Jahid made posters and fliers for the exercise instruction session. When Mr. Luo learned that the materials cost more than the amount he had provided in advance, he offered to pay Jahid the difference. However, Jahid insisted on paying for part of the cost himself and said, “Falun Dafa (another name for Falun Gong) is not only for you; Falun Dafa is also for me. I like Falun Dafa.”

Teaching the Exercises in Hiroshima, Japan

On November 1 and 2, Falun Gong practitioners participated in the 24th East Hiroshima Lifetime Study Fair held in the city sport park. As a community talent show, the fair allowed locals to showcase their insights into life and included international cuisine and stage shows. Every year, it attracts more than 20,000 tourists.

Practitioners teach fairgoers to fold paper lotus flowers and introduce them to Falun Gong.

Practitioners taught fair attendees the Falun Gong exercises and gave out information about local group exercise locations. They also taught tourists to fold paper lotus flowers. The activities attracted so much interest that visitors formed a line to learn the exercises.
