(Minghui.org) In the center of Copenhagen on the Saturdays before and after World Human Rights Day (December 10), practitioners informed passersby about the Chinese Communist Party's 15-year-long brutal persecution of Falun Gong and collected signatures calling for an end to the Party's forced organ harvesting.

Reading about the persecution.
Copenhagen has set up a Christmas tree in City Hall Square for 99 years, and many shoppers pass by the tree and through the square every day. Despite the cold and wind and occasional rain, passersby paused to take a Falun Gong flyer, listen to practitioners' explain, and sign the petition protesting the persecution and the CCP's harvesting of organs from living practitioners.
Two sisters from Romania could not understand Danish and knew little English, but they saw a flyer in Romanian and learned about the ongoing persecution in China. They asked to sign the petition.
A young man from Uganda signed the petition after listening to a practitioner's explanation. The Danish lady with him said, “Sure, I'll sign.” Two bystanders also signed.
A man from the UK taking photos of City Hall Square talked with a practitioner for over 20 minutes. He had learned Chinese in Taiwan and his wife was from Taiwan. He said, “I have been to many countries. I would like to sign the petition.” He was interested in traditional Chinese culture and knew about the lack of human rights in China. At last he said, “You are doing the most meaningful thing in the world. The communist regimes in Eastern Europe collapsed within a short time. The CCP is responsible for countless wrongdoings. It may collapse soon, too.”
The European Parliament passed a resolution on December 12, 2013, calling on China “to immediately end the practice of organ harvesting from prisoners of conscience and members of religious and ethnic minority groups.” In the year since then, more and more people have learned the facts.
A practitioner volunteer said, “Whatever the weather, we need to let people know the facts about Falun Gong. The persecution in China is still going on. Many people in the West do not know that. Holidays or not, we are doing what we should do. People will understand and help stop the persecution.”
