(Minghui.org) Ms. Fang Aiqun of Ning Township was arrested on November 1, 2014, for distributing Falun Gong information. She was detained for ten days and brutalized.
Her fingerprints were taken at the police station, and the police also tried to take a sample of her blood. She resisted, as there was no legal basis for her arrest, and her human rights were being violated.
Ms. Fang tried to keep her hands clenched so that the police could not take her fingerprints. Five officers held her down (one of them was Tan Wei), wrenched her arms backwards, and hit her hands. The pain in her arms was excruciating. One police officer hit her in the face with an elbow, while another pulled her hair. They took her fingerprints and stabbed her finger twice, attempting to draw blood, but she did not bleed.
[Editor's note: Falun Gong practitioners are targeted for organ harvesting in China, and blood tests are needed to establish organ matches. Tens of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners and other prisoners of conscience have been murdered for their organs. Please see Forced Organ Harvesting in China: From Disbelief to Books, Documentaries and Resolutions.
When she was released, the backs of Ms. Fang's hands were black, and her neck, ribs, and arm sockets were so painful that she could not care for herself. She needed help getting in and out of bed.
