(Minghui.org) Ms. Wang Xiuying, 65, became healthy after she began practicing Falun Gong, and was able to care for herself after her husband died. Police from Gudao Community arrested her for posting Falun Dafa truth clarifying materials on November 5, 2013. She was locked up in a brainwashing center at the petroleum factory of the Shengli Oilfield until December 6, 2013.

Ms. Wang was speaking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong and posting truth clarifying fliers at 7:00 p.m. on November 5, 2013. The police followed her and later illegally arrested her. She was taken to Chaoyang Police Station in Gudao.

Liu Luying from the 610 Office searched Ms. Wang and confiscated her keys so they could search her house. Ms. Wang warned them that it was illegal to break into a private residence.

Ms. Wang refused to tell them her name and address, but Liu Luying found a police officer who was able to identify her from an arrest he made in 1999 in Beijing. Ms. Wang had gone to Beijing to protest the unlawful persecution of Falun Gong in 1999, where she was arrested and tortured.

Her name and address was determined from the previous arrest information, and her apartment subsequently searched. Her Falun Dafa books and private belongings were confiscated. She was locked in a brainwashing center at the Shengli Oilfield.

In the brainwashing center, the guards forced Ms. Wang to watch videos that slandered Falun Dafa. The staff at the brainwashing center demanded that she sign a statement to renounce Falun Gong before she was released on December 6, 2013. Ms. Wang refused to sign the statement, so the staff asked her child to sign it. Her child also refused.

After her release, Ms. Wang went to the Haibin Police Department in Dongying to ask for the return of her confiscated belongings. Liu Luying verbally assaulted her and threatened to lock her up again.
