(Minghui.org) The Zhongshan District Court in Dalian City, Liaoning Province, sentenced Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Hong to three and half years in prison on February 28, 2014. She spent 17 months in a Dalian City Detention Center awaiting trial.

Zhonghualu Police Station officers in the Ganjingzi District arrested Ms. Li at a shopping mall on October 30, 2012, and held her in the Yaojia Detention Center in Dalian City. The court sentenced her to prison for exposing the persecution of Falun Gong on her cell phone and the Internet.

Ms. Li's mother is 82 years old. She fainted when she heard the sentence. Her mother is now often in tears, and her father often sits alone without talking to anyone. The detention center is not allowing the family to visit, and they miss her very much.

After the sentencing, Ms. Li was scheduled to be transferred to a prison in Shenyang City, which will make it even more difficult for her parents to see her.
