(Minghui.org) 167 people in China recently signed a petition protesting the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong.
The “Stop Persecuting Falun Gong” petition was signed by people in Langfang City, Hebei Province, between April and May 2014. The petition reads: “Jiang Zemin launched the persecution of Falun Gong in July 1999, directly affecting tens of thousands of innocent people and causing many more to live in terror. The rest of the world can't find out the truth about this persecution due to a strict information blockade. Please sign this petition to show your support for kindness and justice. Help create a better future for China.”
People expressed their anxiety about the social chaos and increasing terrorist attacks, caused by the CCP's promotion of violence and oppression, its suppression of traditional Buddhist Law, and its evil conduct over decades of rule. People need and want a peaceful social environment, which follows when being guided by Falun Dafa's teaching of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
Facts prove that Falun Gong is different than what the CCP propaganda claims it to be. The CCP discourages people from being good and bullies those that are, even arresting innocent practitioners without a reason. Currently over ten practitioners are detained in Langfang Brainwashing Center.
People said: "Falun Gong has give us new ideas and hope. The CCP has deceived us for decades, it is the source of social unrest."
They said: "We feel at ease around Falun Gong practitioners - they are good examples. We are happy to sign to support Falun Gong."
A man said: "One of my neighbors is a Falun Gong practitioner that cleans up the hall every day. I am very pleased. I'd like to sign to support Falun Gong."
A lady said: "One of my colleagues could not bear a bit of personal loss, but he totally changed after practicing Falun Gong. Now he always sets an example: do not fight for benefits, but give the advantage away. For Falun Gong to change a person to such a degree, it is indeed supernatural."
A political cadre said: "I always felt uneasy during decades of work in the government sector. I did not feel relieved until I retired. Nobody has a happy life in this country, rich or poor, cadres or workers. Falun Gong is good!"
An elderly lady said: "My neighbor some time ago was a Falun Gong practitioner. He was a factory manager, very healthy and affable. However, the CCP put him into Langfang Brainwashing Center to "maintain stability." He came home not long after, but was no longer in his right mind. This CCP is so vicious, they used harmful drugs on a good person. The CCP will be eradicated."
A man said: "One of my friends from Beijing is a practitioner. He was stopped at a checkpoint, because his car plate was not issued by Beijing (it was during the CCP Congress meeting). They put him in Langfang Detention Center for over a month, until the meeting was over. People have no peace under CCP rule."
A young girl said: "A classmate of mine went sightseeing in the countryside. After she parked her car and left, the police searched it. They found three banners in celebration of World Falun Dafa Day, so they took her away and held the car for several months. No place is safe in this country."
A child told us: "One day my mom was reading a Falun Gong book in her room, I was watching TV while cutting my fingernails in the living room. Suddenly a nail bounced into my eye. I screamed and heard my mom shout 'Falun Dafa is good,' then the nail came out. My mom ran out, said she was going to ask me to shout 'Falun Dafa is good,' but shouted it herself because she was anxious. I said I was fine, that it was so amazing. After this incident, I no longer opposed her. When she showed me the petition, I signed without hesitation. I strongly support an end to the persecution."
A practitioner went to a friend's home to seek a signature, where an elderly man overheard the practitioner explain Falun Gong to his spouse. When he heard it was a call to stop the persecution, he rushed out and asked: "How can I help? I want to appeal." The practitioner answered, "Your signature on this petition is an appeal." He gladly signed.
Another elderly lady said: "My neighbor signed to support Falun Gong some time ago, and got rewarded. Her grandson found a good job. I can't miss this good opportunity to sign. Falun Gong is good. As long as the CCP persecutes them, we must oppose it."
Now more and more people are signing to support Falun Gong practitioners.
With practitioners' persistent truth clarification and the publication of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party in 2004, which exposed the CCP's evil nature, more and more Chinese have come to understand the truth and do not want to be associated with the CCP. Moreover, more and more evildoers have received retribution, so many of them have woken up and now they resist the persecution and secretly help practitioners. The CCP's use of lies and bribes is loosing its effectiveness, as over 160 million people have withdrawn from the CCP and its affiliations.
