July 4, 2014 |   By a Minghui correspondent from Henan Province, China

(Minghui.org) Mr. Chang Xinqin, 50, a Falun Gong practitioner and former teacher at the Pingdingshan Foreign Language School, was arrested by officers from the Wangzhai Town Police Station on June 22, 2014, for distributing Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs. His whereabouts are unknown.

Cheng Jianyang, captain of the Ruzhou Police Department, and three officers from the police station ransacked Mr. Chang’s home at around 4:00 that afternoon. They confiscated a computer, a laptop computer, and other personal belongings.

Mr. Chang has been detained many times during the past ten years, and was once sentenced to approximately six years in prison. The school also monitored him for more than a year. After being released from prison in 2009, he was fired by the school. He is now homeless and destitute.

After he started practicing Falun Gong in 1996, Mr. Chang followed the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. He had an excellent reputation among his colleagues and students. Police officers even said to him, “You are very good, and no one from the school badmouths you.”
