My daughter is a Falun Dafa practitioner. She was illegally detained twice after the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) banned Dafa in 1999. The brutal persecution of my daughter destroyed our family life.
I had a mental breakdown. I was worried about my daughter's safety, but I was afraid of the police. I did not know how to deal with the situation and feared that I would be persecuted.
Afraid, I took others' advice and burned and threw away some Falun Dafa books. I committed crimes against Dafa because I did not know the truth.
Herewith, I solemnly declare that everything I have said and done that was against the founder of Falun Dafa and the practice is null and void. I will support Dafa and believe that Falun Dafa is good.

I was a police officer. Three other officers and I beat and arrested two female practitioners on a bus for distributing informational DVDs about the persecution of Falun Dafa. We took them to a police station and put them in a steel cage.
After about three hours, they were transferred to a forced labor camp without the benefit of a trial. This was allowed due to a directive by higher authorities at that time. Now I understand the truth and deeply regret what I did.
Herewith, I solemnly declare that everything I have said and done against Falun Dafa's founder, Falun Dafa, and its disciples is null and void. I will support Falun Dafa from now on.
