Mr. Wang Cheng was arrested by local officers on October 20, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin. He was detained in the Fangshan Detention Center for five days.

14. [Dongxiang County, Gansu Province] Mr. Zhang Tianming and Mr. Chen Yongsen Detained

Mr. Zhang Tianming was arrested in the Xinhuajie Post Office by officers from the Linxia City Domestic Security Division on September 15, 2015, for mailing a criminal complaint letter against Jiang Zemin. He was detained for 15 days.

On the same day, Mr. Chen Yongsen, in his 60s, disabled, was arrested by officers from the Linxia City Domestic Security Division. He was released after five hours of detention.

15. [Tieling City, Liaoning Province] Five Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Li Zhongyuan, Mr. Xin Shuren and his non-practitioner wife Ms. Wen Zhiyao, and Ms. Hu Xiaoru were arrested by officers from the Tieling City Political and Legal Affairs Committee on October 20, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin. Their homes were ransacked.

Mr. Che Lizhi, Ms. Wen's husband, went to the Tieling City Police Department to ask for the release of Ms. Wen. He was arrested and detained for 10 days by the Tieling City Domestic Security Division. Ms. Wen is detained in the Tieling City Detention Center. Mr. Xin was detained for five days.

Five practitioners were arrested at home and taken to the Gongzhuling City Domestic Security Division by officers, including Yao Chunhui from the Gongzhuling City Domestic Security Division and Daling Town Police Station on October 21, 2015.

They are Mr. Mao Xiaohui and his wife Ms. Cheng Lijuan, Ms. Liu Chunjing, Ms. Zhang Baoyun, and Ms. He Guihua.

Seven practitioners were arrested by officers from the Tiemen Police Station in Macheng City on October 18, 2015, when reading Falun Gong books. They are detained in the Macheng Detention Center.

Mr. Yan Jingxiong was arrested on October 11, 2015, for talking to people and distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. He is detained in the Wuhua Detention Center in Kunming City.

21. [Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Li Guangqing Detained

Mr. Li Guangqing was arrested on September 21, 2015. He was detained in a detention center for 10 days.

22. [Huaihua City, Hunan Province] Two Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Liu Yuanzhen, 68, a retired teacher from the Yuanling First High School, and Mr. Li Dianxing, 76, the former deputy director of the County Water Conservancy Bureau, were arrested at home by officers from the Yuanling Domestic Security Division, Chengdong Police Station, and Chengxi Police Station on October 20, 2015, for looking at an overseas website. The police ransacked their homes. Mr. Li was released that noon and Ms. Liu was detained in the Yuanling County Detention Center for 10 days.

Mr. Li Congfu, detained at Jiamusi Prison, was mentally traumatized during October 2015 because of the persecution.

He was arrested in December 2008 and later sentenced to a seven-year prison term.

Ms. Cao Lingfeng and Mr. Liu Shiquan were arrested by officers from the Dakunlun Police Station on September 9, 2003. Ms. Cao and Mr. Liu were later sentenced to a two-year prison term and four-year prison term, respectively. Ms. Cao was mentally traumatized from the persecution and released.

Ms. Liu Shuhong and Ms. Liu Shuqing were arrested by officers from the Xianghe County Police Department around October 18, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin. The police ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong books and informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. They were released later that day.

54. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Sun Rongli Detained

Ms. Sun Rongli was arrested at home by officers from the Shihuiyao Police Station on October 19, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin. She was detained in the Yantai Detention Center for five days.

55. [Shifang City, Sichuan Province] Seven Practitioner Arrested and Detained

A total of seven practitioners from Shifang City were taken into police custody in October this year.

Ms. Xu Kairong, Ms. Yang Changyan, Mr. Chen Zhongjun, Ms. Liu Fengyu, and Ms. Xiao Kaiqiong were arrested on October 15, while Ms. Zhang Qingju and Ms. Wan Gufen were arrested on October 19.

Ms. Wan, Ms. Zhang, Ms. Xiao, and Mr. Chen are still held in the Shifang City Detention Center, while Ms. Xu, Ms. Liu and Ms. Xiao were released on October 20.

56. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Mr. Wu Jinwu Still Detained

Mr. Wu Jinwu, 66, was sentenced to a three year term for practicing Falun Gong. He is detained in the Shijiazhuang Detention Center since his arrest on December 29, 2014.

Prior to his latest sentencing, he was given five years in 2000 for refusing to give up his belief in Falun Gong. He lost his job as a result of his imprisonment, and he had to do odd jobs to make a living upon his release. His wife Ms. Wang Shuhua was traumatized by his imprisonment and her health quickly declined. She died in November 2005.
