According to this report, 3 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 51 practitioners were illegally arrested and detained.

1. [Xinxiang City, Henan Province] Mr. Yang Mingzheng Died from Persecution

Mr. Yang Mingzheng died at age 60 on September 17, 2015. Before he died, Mr. Yang never recovered from the trauma he suffered during his four-year prison term. He lost most of his memory and was in a daze much of the time. Mr. Yang was arrested on February 15, 2009, then sentenced to four years in prison by the Weibin District Court. He was imprisoned for four years in the Xinmi Prison and released on February 14, 2013.

Ms. Yan Huifang, 62-years-old, was arrested on October 21, 2015 for handing out Falun Gong fliers. She is detained at the Zhumadian Detention Center.

3. [Haiyang City, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Ni Zhanhui was arrested on October 21, 2015.

Ms. Sun Shuyan was arrested for speaking up for Falun Gong in a public market on October 22, 2015.

Mr. Yu Haiyong was arrested on October 23, 2015.

Mr. Liu Fei and Ms. Zhuang Li were arrested on October 21, 2015.

5. [Xuchang County, Henan Province] Mr. Liu Mingzhou Detained

Mr. Liu Mingzhou from Hutuo Village, Suqiao Township, Xuchang County, was arrested at home on October 22, 2015 for filing complaints against Jiang Zemin. He is detained at the Yulin Detention Center.

6. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Du Yongfen Detained

Ms. Du Yongfen, 66-years-old, was arrested on October 22, 2015. She is detained at the Weifang City Detention Center.

7. [Chishui City, Guizhou Province] Three Practitioners Arrested, One Still Detained

Ms. Dai Wanying was arrested on October 19, 2015. She has been detained since then.

Mr. Wen Tao was arrested on October 19, 2015. His wife, Ms. Shuai Deyu, was arrested the next day, October 20. They were released.

Mr. Wu Xiaoguang, Ms. Zhao Shuchun, and Ms. Zhang Chunru were arrested on October 22, 2015 for filing legal complaints against Jiang Zemin. They were held in a brainwashing center.

9. [Shenyang, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xu Fengxian Arrested

Ms. Xu Fengxian was arrested at home on October 20, 2015 for filing a complaint against Jiang Zemin. She was released an hour later.

Ms. Tian Chunxiang was arrested on October 23, 2015. She is held at a detention center.

11. [Weifang, Shandong Province] Mr. Di Junhui and His Wife Detained

Mr. Di Junhui and his wife were arrested on October 21, 2015. They were taken to the Fangzi Detention Center. The couple lives in Xiaolijia area, Mu Village, Fangzi District, Weifang.

12. [Penglai, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Yanhua Arrested

Ms. Liu Yanhua was arrested at home on October 2, 2015 for filing complaints against Jiang Zemin. She was subjected to 15 days of detention. She was first detained at the Penglai Detention Center, then, a week later, transferred to the Yantai Detention Center.

13. [Qianguo County, Jilin Province] Mr. Li Fujun Arrested

Mr. Li Fujun was arrested in Changchun by officers from the Qianguo Police Department on October 22, 2015.

14. [Ulanhot, Inner Mongolia] Two Practitioners Arrested, One Still Detained

Ms. Li Yiping and her mother, who is in her eighties, were arrested for handing out Falun Gong flyers on October 19, 2015. The mother was released the same day. Ms. Li is detained at the Ulanhot Detention Center.

15. [Fuyang City, Anhui Province] Ms. Zhang Jie Detained for 15 Days

Ms. Zhang Jie was arrested on October 21, 2015 for filing complaints against Jiang Zemin. She is subjected to 15 days detention and held at the Fuyang Detention Center for 15 days.

Ms. Sun Cuilian, in her fifties, was arrested for handing out Falun Gong fliers in a public market on October 22, 2015. Officers ransacked her home and took away her Falun Gong books.

17. [Weifang, Shandong Province] Mr. Liu Yanli and His Wife Ms. Xu Jianling Arrested

Mr. Liu Yanli and his wife Ms. Xu Jianling were arrested on October 16, 2015. They are held at the Zhuli Brainwashing Center.

18. [Xifeng County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Tian Yongfu and Ms. Wang Lihua Arrested

Mr. Tian Yongfu and Ms. Wang Lihua were arrested on October 19, 2015 for filing complaints against Jiang Zemin.

Mr. Yu Zhongtong and Ms. Lu Shichan were arrested on October 14, 2015. They are detained at the Liugong Detention Center in Fushan District, Yantai City.

Mr. Zhou Shun and Mr. Shang Cheng were arrested on October 21, 2015 for filing complaints against Jiang Zemin. They were detained for 15 days in the Changtu County Detention Center.

Mr. Zhang Xueci and his wife, Ms. Liang Jiufen were arrested on October 22, 2015. Officers searched their home and confiscated their Falun Gong books and printouts.

Mr. Zhang Shigui was arrested on October 23, 2015 for filing legal complaints against Jiang Zemin.

23. [Guangling, Shanxi Province] Five Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Li Guiying, Mr. Zhang Zhijun, Ms. Yu Zhi, Ms. Gui Yuan, and Ms. Hai Ye were arrested on October 21, 2015 for filing complaints against Jiang Zemin. Mr. Zhang's whereabouts are unknown. The other practitioners were sent to the Datong No. 2 Detention Center.

Mr. Zhang Shenghong was arrested on October 22, 2015. His whereabouts are unknown.

26. [Wucheng County, Shandong Province] Seven Practitioners Arrested

Seven practitioners were arrested on October 22, 2015 for filing legal complaints against Jiang Zemin. They are Ms. Wu Qing, Ms. Meng Xiangqing, Ms. Sun Aixi, Ms. Chu Guiling, Ms. Li Ailing, Ms. Liu Jihua, and Ms. Liu Jifen. Ms. Li Jihua, Ms. Li Ailing, and Ms. Chu Guiling were released that day. The others are detained.

29. [Nenjiang, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wang Yanyou Files Appeal Regarding 10 Year Sentence

Mr. Wang Yanyou has filed an appeal to Heihe City Intermediate Court against his 10-year sentence for practicing Falun Gong. The 60-year-old man from Nenjiang was taken away from his family-owned store on December 8, 2014. The police confiscated his computers and close to 100,000 yuan in cash. Mr. Wang was given a prison sentence ten months later, and he is now awaiting the higher court's decision on his appeal.

30. [Daan, Jilin Province] Ms. Zou Yufang Imprisoned and in Serious Condition

Ms. Zou Yufang, who is imprisoned for practicing Falun Gong, is in serious condition at Jilin Province First Women's Prison. According to an insider, she has edema all over her body and has trouble walking by herself. She also suffers from a severe heart problem.

Ms. Zou was diagnosed with late-stage stomach cancer and heart disease a few months after her arrest in January 2013. Though she was given one year of medical parole, she was taken back into custody and sentenced to 4 years in August 2014.

31. [Zhaoyuan, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Shupei Detained

Ms. Wang Shupei has filed a criminal complaint against Jiang Zemin for the persecution her entire family suffered. She was reported to police when she practiced the exercises, passed out the informational materials about Falun Gong and talked to people about Falun Gong at Wenquan Park in the early morning hours of October 22, 2015.

Ms. Wang was arrested by officers from the Luofenglu Police Station. She is being held at the Zhaoyuan Detention Center.
