According to this report, at least 42 practitioners were illegally arrested and detained, 18 went on a hunger strike in prison, 1 is scheduled to be tried, more than 17 were detained for suing Jiang Zemin, and the whereabouts of 3 are unknown.

Ten Falun Gong practitioners were arrested on October 16, 2015, by officers from the Yongkang City Domestic Security Division and the 610 Office. They were taken to the Baidu Hotel Brainwashing Center.

The practitioners include Mr. Shi Guanxian and his wife Ms. Shu Kuiyin, Mr. Xu Gaoshou and his wife Ms. Shi Sufang, Ms. Chen Yuehong, Ms. Yinju, Ms. Ladui, Ms. Hu Xingchun, Ms. Tong Huixian, and Ms. Xuemei.

2. [Dongping County, Shandong Province] Seven Practitioners Arrested

Houtun Village Police Station officers broke into practitioners' homes on October 14, 2015 and arrested them. The practitioners included Mr. Shang Mengye and his wife, Ms. Jiao Guilan, Ms. Su Xiuying, Ms. Zhang Chunxiang, and Ms. Yang Yuxiang.

Ms. Su and Ms. Zhang were detained and the other practitioners released.

Ms. Liu Xiuying, 78, was arrested by officers from the Qidu Police Department at noon on October 16, 2015.

4. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Yang Qingting and His Wife Ms. Zhang Suzhen Taken to Brainwashing Center

Wang Quanfeng, head of the Fangzi District Domestic Security Division, along with officers from the Domestic Security Division, the Weifang City 610 Office, and the Fenghuang Police Station, arrested Mr. Yang Qingting and his wife Ms. Zhang Suzhen on October 15, 2015. The couple was taken to a brainwashing center and released the following evening.

Ms. Cheng Jing from the Shijingshan District was arrested on October 13, 2015, by officers from the Bajiao Police Station for suing Jiang Zemin, the former head of the Chinese regime. She was taken to the Fangshan District Detention Center.

6. [Jingtai County, Gansu Province] Ms. Wang Lianzhen Arrested for Suing Jiang Zemin

Ms. Wang Lianzhen from Sitan Township was arrested on October 14, 2015, by plainclothes officers, for mailing lawsuits against former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin to the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuratorate.

Ms. Zhang Zhenlian, Ms. Jiao Wenling, Ms. Wei Ling, and Ms. Guo Aixiang were arrested on October 15, 2015, by police officers who investigate practitioners who have filed lawsuits against Jiang Zemin.

Mr. Wang Zhenyu and his wife Ms. Wang Xinya, from Lixinglou Village, Huaishu Township, were arrested in their shoe store by officers from the Suiping County 610 Office, the Suiping County Police Department, and the Huaishu Township Police Station on October 16, 2015. The officers confiscated a computer, a printer, and Falun Gong books. Ms. Wang was released that afternoon. Mr. Wang was taken to the Suiping County Detention Center.

18. [Qidong County, Hunan Province] Mr. He Zhishi Arrested

Mr. He Zhishi was arrested for posting Falun Gong informational materials in Qidong County on October 14, 2015. His home was ransacked.

19. [Zhangwu County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Lijun Detained for Suing Jiang Zemin

Ms. Liu Lijun, from Dasi Township, Zhangwu County, was arrested on October 16, 2015 by Cui Haifeng, head of the Zhangwu County Domestic Security Division, and other officers, for suing Jiang Zemin. She was detained in the Fuxin City Detention Center for ten days.

30. [Harbin, Heilongjiang Province] Eighteen Practitioners on Hunger Strike

Eighteen Falun Gong practitioners held in Heilongjiang Province Women's Prison started a group hunger strike on October 12, 2015, after the prison authorities refused to stop torturing Ms. Gao Yuqin.

Ms. Gao is serving a four-year sentence for refusing to give up her belief in Falun Gong. The guards are torturing her on a regular basis because she continues to do the Falun Gong exercises.

31. [Jiamusi, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Cui Huifang Faces Trial

Ms. Cui Huifang, a labor camp guard who became a Falun Gong practitioner, remains detained following her arrest on February 26, 2015.

The local court scheduled a trial in October, but the hearing was postponed twice as officials scrambled to address the defense lawyers' protests over the court's violations of legal procedures and the admissibility of the prosecution evidence. At the time of this writing, it was not clear when the hearing will take place.

While Ms. Cui's lawyers work to seek justice for her, her family and friends have started a campaign to collect signatures from people who support her unconditional release.

32. [Chongqing] Policewoman Breaks Ms. Wu Huazhen's Bedroom Door Down

Policewoman Deng Hongying from the Dashiba Police Station broke down Ms. Wu Huazhen's bedroom door in a fit of anger, although Ms. Wu was explaining calmly why she filed a lawsuit against Jiang.
