(Minghui.org) I have noticed some issues in my area for some time now and would like to talk to fellow practitioners about it.
Mainly, we need a coordinator. It is true that some practitioners have taken initiatives and organized many projects, including lawsuits against Jiang Zemin, the former head of the Chinese communist regime. But, without a designated coordinator, the overall coordination suffers.
As we are of different backgrounds and different xinxing levels, practitioners occasionally encounter misunderstandings or conflicts. Because of practitioners' human notions and strong attachments to oneself, the situation can become complicated. Thus, we discussed many initiatives but dropped most of them.
For example, several of us produce informational materials. Without diligent Fa-study and lacking a pure heart, the quality of the materials is not very good.
We often ran into arguments, including to write letters to police officers, print non-stick posters, and print words on paper currency. Let's talk about posters: some proposed permanent ink that is rainproof, while some suggested regular ink for convenience. For printing on paper currency, some print only the sentence “Falun Dafa is good” and skip phrases such as asking people to quit the Communist Party organizations. Their excuse is that very few practitioners will use paper currency with information about quitting the CCP.
It is possible that we practitioners have different opinions, but a coordinator is needed so that we can do things better and cultivate well.
Also, some practitioners do not treat Fa-study seriously. They even brought fruits or other food to group Fa-study. This requires that the hosting practitioner has to clean the fruits and peel them. I do not claim that this is wrong, but I do wonder how we can take cultivation more seriously and reduce inconveniences to fellow practitioners.
Master said,
“You have gone through so much in all these years of cultivation, and yet many people have really done poorly. They constantly make all sorts of mistakes, and have even grown used to it, and consider it nothing; even when ordeals come they don’t realize where the problem lies, as they have become accustomed to it and consider [their attachments] just little things. But it’s cultivation—whatever happened to being “free of gaps” (wu-lou)? There are no little things.” (“Fa Teaching at the 2015 West Coast Fa Conference”)
If we remember the pure heart we had when we first started to practice Falun Dafa, we would know that we need to pay attention to all of these things.
