1. [Taian City, Shandong Province] Five Practitioners Arrested

Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Zheng Hongling, Mr. Zhao Qisen, Ms. Pei Fengqin, Mr. Zheng Jianliang and Ms. Dong Yingchun were arrested on the morning of January 22, 2015. They were sending righteous thoughts near Xintai City Detention Center when the plainclothes police from local Domestic Security Division arrested them.

The five practitioners were taken to the Beishidian Police Station and released late that night.

Ms. Ding Liurong was arrested on December 24, 2014. She is being held in the Xuzhou City Detention Center.

Ms. Guo Feng from Chaoyang District was arrested in December 2014. She is being held in the Beijing No. 1 Detention Center.

4. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Ma Guiyun Detained

Ms. Ma Guiyun from Nangang District was arrested on January 9, 2015 when she talked to people about Falun Gong and the persecution at a hospital. She was taken to the Youzheng Police Station and detained for two weeks.

Mr. Ma Yongxiao and Ms. Du Likun were arrested on January 28, 2015 as they distributed informational materials about Falun Gong in Liushigang Township. They are held in the Liushigang Police Station.

Ms. Mu Lihua was arrested at a market in Harnao, Beipiao on January 28, 2015 by officers from Harnao Police Station. She is being held in the Xidayingzi Detention Center.

7. [Xinjiang County, Shanxi Province] Ms. Yu Hong Detained

Ms. Yu Hong from Beizhang Town was arrested on January 27, 2015 when she distributed information about Falun Gong. She is being held in a women's jail in the Yanhu District, Yuncheng City.

8. [Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Du Xiuju's Life In Danger

Ms. Du Xiuju, 56, was tried for the second time on January 5, 2015 at the Haizhou District Court. She was found guilty. Ms. Du started a hunger strike to protest the persecution, which lasted for 22 days. Her life is now in critical condition.

She has been held in the Lianyungang City Detention Center since she was arrested at home on the afternoon of September 17, 2014 by officers from the local 610 Office.

9. [Qingyang City, Gansu Province] Mr. Cao Ming and Ms. Cao Wenmei Arrested

Mr. Cao Ming and Ms. Cao Wenmei from Zhenyuan County were arrested on the morning of January 21, 2014 when they distributed New Year calendars with messages about Falun Gong in Zhoujia Township. Local police sent Mr. Cao home the next day due to his high blood pressure. Ms. Cao Wenmei was transferred to the Ning County Detention Center.

10. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Yu Ping Detained

Ms. Yu Ping was arrested on January 14, 2015 while she distributed informational materials about Falun Gong. She was held in the Haizhu Detention Center for two weeks.

11. [Longkou City, Shandong Province] Mr. Yi Xiangyang Illegally Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Yi Xiangyang, 65, lives in Daoliujia Village. He was arrested on August 24, 2014 when he talked to people about Falun Gong and the persecution. Officers from the Donglai Police Station made the arrest and held him in the Zhangjiagou Detention Center. Mr. Yi was recently sentenced to five years in prison.

12. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Nie Yingjian Suffers Mental Breakdown As a Result of Persecution

Ms. Nie Yingjian, 61, a teacher from Harbin Normal University has been incarcerated in the Harbin No.1 Specialized Hospital, a mental hospital, since November 2014, when she was arrested and taken there. She had suffered a mental breakdown as a result of the persecution.

Mr. Yang Guoxiang and his wife Ms. Liu Xiuying from Butuo County were arrested on January 7, 2015. They are being held in the Xichang City Detention Center.
