(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 7 provinces. According to this report, 3 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 15 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Jiang Suzhen Arrested

Ms. Jiang Suzhen was arrested on January 28, 2015, while talking to people about Falun Gong on a bus. Her blood pressure reached 280 while she was being held in a local police station. The police sent her home the next day.

2. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Shi Shuxiang, Mr. Lu Guangsheng, and Ms. Zhang Xueli were arrested at their homes on the morning of January 26, 2015. Community staff and local police made the arrest and ransacked their homes. Their computers, printers, portraits of Master Li, Falun Gong books, and informational materials were confiscated.

Ms. Shi was released and returned home. Mr. Lu and Ms. Zhang are being held in the Jilin City Detention Center.

3. [Urumqi City, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region] Ms. Bai Liping Arrested

Ms. Bai Liping from the Tianshan District was arrested on January 21, 2015. She was using paper bills with informational messages about Falun Gong written on them to purchase goods.

4. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Ms. Peng Yanfeng Is Still Missing

Ms. Peng Yanfeng has been missing since July 20, 1999.

5. [Sichuan Province] Mr. Wu Gang Is Still Missing

Mr. Wu Gang has been missing since July 23, 1999.

6. [Arxan City, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Li Yanxia and Ms. Li Yaqin in Police Custody

Ms. Li Yanxia and Ms. Li Yaqin from Yi'ershi Town were arrested on the afternoon of January 31, 2015, while they were talking to people about Falun Gong and the persecution. The two practitioners are being held in a local police station.

7. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Hong, Ms. Wei, and Ms. Gu, from Sujiatun, Shenyang City, went to Jinzhou City together on January 29, 2015. They were arrested at the train station when they were buying return tickets and used their identification cards.

Ms. Gu was released because of her old age. Ms. Hong and Ms. Wei are being held in the Jizhou Detention Center.

8. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Du Longping Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Du Longping was secretly tried recently, after being arrested in April 2014, while distributing flyers about Falun Gong. He was given a four-year prison term. Mr. Du appealed the verdict to the Dalian City Intermediate Court, but the court upheld the original verdict.

9. [Butuo County, Sichuan Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Yang Zhiqiang and his wife Ms. Li Xiuying, from Butuo County, were arrested as they returned to their hometown in Ziyang City on January 27, 2015. The couple is being held in the Xichang City Detention Center.

Ms. Fu Shiqiong and Ms. Luo Congwen from Xichang City were arrested on January 21, 2015, when they were talking to people about Falun Gong. The two practitioners were held in the Xiaomiao Detention Center. They have since been released.

10. [Nanyang City, Henan Province] Mr. Cai Wei Arrested

Mr. Cai Wei was arrested in mid-January, 2015.

11. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Seven Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Ma Guiyun was arrested on the morning of January 9, 2015, by officers from the Youzheng Street Police Station in the Nangang District. Her family was told on January 24 that she is being held in a detention center.

Ms. Sun Zhenhong and Ms. Pan Haiyan from Daoli District were arrested on the afternoon of January 26 in Xinxing Village, Xinfa Town. Officers from the Xinnong Police Station made the arrest and sent them to Yaziquan (Harbin No. 1 Detention Center) to be held for two weeks.

Ms. Li Shuhua, Ms. Zhao Zhenqing, and Ms. Wu Yuxiang, from Yanshou County, were arrested on the evening of January 30, 2015. Zhang Huanyu, the Party secretary of Laodaogou Village, along with Zhang Yanbing, chief of the Shoushan Township Police Station, and others, took the three practitioners to the Shoushan Township Police Station.

The three practitioners were sent to the Harbin City Detention Center the following morning to be held for two weeks.

Mr. Zhang Shuhai from Qunli Development Zone in the Daoli District left home on the morning of January 4, 2015. He has not returned home and his whereabouts are unknown.
