(Minghui.org) Editor's note: Ever since the persecution of Falun Gong began in July 1999, Falun Gong practitioners have been collecting persecution cases and updating a “perpetrator list,” believing that justice will be served based on the principle of karmic retribution. This traditional viewpoint of “what goes around comes around” supersedes Chinese Communist Party (CCP) control. To help those responsible for carrying out the persecution avoid dire consequences and choose to change their lives for the better, practitioners have collected local retribution cases, such as the one recounted in this article.

Liu Chunxu was a Chinese Communist Party (CCP) secretary at the College of Literature, Journalism, and Communication at Central University for Nationalities in Beijing. She developed cancer and died at the age of 63 on November 13, 2014.

Liu, who was born in 1951, became Party secretary in 1996 and followed the directives she received to persecute Falun Gong practitioners.

Ms. Liang Bo was just one of the practitioners Liu was directly involved in persecuting. Ms. Liang was a highly regarded teacher at the college. She was expelled and her wages and welfare benefits were suspended because she practiced Falun Gong.

Liu was instrumental in helping the police when Ms. Liang was illegally arrested in 2003. Ms. Liang was four months pregnant at the time, and Liu also intended to force her to have an abortion. While Ms. Liang’s husband was away from home, Liu coordinated the university hospital and street committee to pressure her into an abortion. Liu's efforts were unsuccessful, because Ms. Liang and her family strongly objected.

The Haidian District Court illegally sentenced Ms. Liang to three-and-a-half years in prison on October 20, 2010. Her family was devastated.

Ms. Liang was a conscientious teacher, a dedicated wife, and a caring mother of two. Throughout the past 12 years, she has been persecuted over and over.

In 2008, Liu was diagnosed with lung cancer. She had surgery in 2009, but the cancer was not cured. Liu Chunxu refused to realize that she had done terrible things to innocent people, and she continued to actively follow the CCP to persecute Falun Gong.
