(Minghui.org) Everybody in my family has changed since we started reading Falun Gong materials. Our family is now full of laughter and sunshine. Our neighbor noticed our change in outlook and asked, “How come you guys are always so happy?”

I used to think that neither Falun Gong nor the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) had anything to do with me, so I ignored Falun Gong.

I often found Falun Gong materials in my mailbox. Initially they were booklets, flyers, and DVDs, but now I get exquisite magazines. My family, all three generations, love these materials and have become loyal readers.

The reason I changed my attitude is simply because I discovered that Falun Gong tells the truth. What they are doing is good for us. Moreover, they comment responsibly on the future of the CCP and China. Many predictions that Falun Gong practitioners have made about China's political situation have been proven true.

I also realized that Falun Gong is not political. They are simply trying to save the people who have remained on the sinking ship that is the CCP. All the practitioners are doing is warning people that the ship is going to sink soon.

CCP members have told me how bad corruption is in the Party. I used to think that, if the Party could fix the corruption, it could become a good political party. From reading the Falun Gong materials, I've realized that the most corrupt Party members are all “honored members” and “the model members.” They are the elites of the Party. Many of them are actually the perpetrators involved in the persecution of Falun Gong.

I learned from Falun Gong materials that the persecution is still going on and that the Party is killing innocent people. So what good is the CCP's own anti-corruption campaign? As Falun Gong points out, the CCP's own campaigns are battles within the Party to eliminate political enemies.

Falun Gong materials are like a stream in the desert. They give my family hope and courage. We are not afraid in this chaotic society, because any natural or social disaster is like a fierce wind that can only make withered trees fall. It cannot shake the trees nourished by the stream.

Yes, everyone in my family is always happy, because we have learned that the best way to educate our children and the best way to treat others is by following the universal principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
