(Minghui.org) I was diagnosed with cervical cancer, which later spread to my lymph nodes. Surgery, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy, as well as treatment from numerous specialists and large doses of drugs, failed to eliminate the cancer.

I finally tried Falun Gong, which purified my body. I am now completely healed.

My cervical cancer, already in a late stage, was diagnosed in 2004, and I immediately underwent surgery. My family and friends were very worried. Even my doctors feared that I would not be strong enough to survive the procedure.

The surgery went well, and was followed by two months of radiation and chemotherapy. The treatments did not make me feel better. My symptoms worsened, and my body swelled up.

The doctors later found that the cancer had spread to the lymph nodes, and a tumor the size of an egg had grown in one of my legs. I was in excruciating pain. My daughter searched everywhere for the best cancer specialists. I took large doses of drugs, as well as Chinese herbal remedies, but nothing helped.

A friend who practiced Falun Gong visited me, and recommended that I practice Falun Gong exercises with her. I had heard about Falun Gong in 1998, and I believed that it was very good. I even purchased a copy of the book Zhuan Falun at the time, but I didn't read the book, nor did I practice the exercises much. I stopped altogether when the government began persecuting practitioners in 1999.

Even so, I knew that Falun Gong taught people to follow “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance,” and that Falun Gong practitioners were good people with high moral standards.

I have now learned the exercises in earnest. Since my friend told me it was important to also read the book, I began reading Zhuan Falun.

Soon after I began to seriously cultivate in Falun Gong, I experienced some odd physical issues. My head became covered with large, painful sores that leaked pus, and I suffered from diarrhea for several days. I realized that my body was being cleansed and purified.

The tumor on my leg became smaller, and the swelling in my body diminished. I did not see any doctors, yet all my symptoms disappeared within three months.

I was soon able to help with chores. I could take my grandchild to school, and work in my vegetable garden.

I am very healthy now. I give thanks to Falun Gong and Master Li for giving me a new life.
