(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 19 cities or counties in 12 provinces. According to this report, 7 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 27 were illegally arrested.

1. [Maoming City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Li Zhenyu Sentenced

Ms. Li Zhenyu was arrested by officers from the Guandu Police Station in September 2014. After being sentenced to a three-year prison term by the Maonan District Court, she was taken to the Guangdong Women's Prison.

2. [Guangan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Hu Xiuchun Detained

Ms. Hu Xiuchun was handcuffed and arrested at home on the evening of June 3 2015, by officers from the Wansheng Police Station and Longan Residential Committee. The police ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong books, a laptop computer, and an MP3 player. She is detained at the Huaying City Detention Center.

3. [Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province] Ms. Yang Lu Arrested

Ms. Yang Lu was recently arrested and taken to the Zhaotong City Detention Center by her father for practicing the Falun Gong exercises in the evening.

4. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Chuanlan Arrested

Ms. Liu Chuanlan was arrested by officers from the Sub-District Office and plainclothes officers on June 4, 2015. She was taken to the 721 Brainwashing Center.

5. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhao Henglan and Ms. Wang Ping Arrested

Ms. Zhao Henglan and Ms. Wang Ping were arrested for collecting signatures for Ms. Zhan Shufen's release. Ms. Wang was released and Ms. Zhao was taken to the Qiqihar City No. 1 Detention Center.

6. [Liaocheng City, Shandong Province] Mr. Kang Shoubo Arrested

Mr. Kang Shoubo was arrested at home by plainclothes officers on the morning of June 9, 2015. The police ransacked his home and confiscated computers, printers, a car, and Falun Gong books.

7. [Chongqing] Ms. Liu Yongmei's Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Liu Yongmei was arrested at home by officers from the Chengdong Police Station, Police Department, and Political and Legal Affairs Committee on May 26, 2015. Her whereabouts remain unknown.

Mr. Meng Qingquan, arrested on May 28, 2015, is detained at the Jiawang Campus Guest House of the Xuzhou Normal University.

Ms. Gao Xianying and Ms. Luo Lingrong were sentenced by the Jiangyang District Court on June 1, 2015. Ms. Gao was sentenced to a three-year and six-month prison term and Ms. Luo to a three-year term.

10. [Xinglong County, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Shuying Detained

Ms. Zhang Shuying was arrested by officers from the Anziling Town Government and Police Station on the afternoon of June 8, 2015, for refusing to write a guarantee statement. She is detained at the Chengde City Brainwashing Center.

11. [Beijing] Mr. Li Yuanlin Detained

Mr. Li Yuanlin, 35, from Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province, works as a taxi driver in Beijing. He was arrested by officers from the Huairou 610 Office in mid-May 2015. He is detained at the Huairou Detention Center.

12. [Liuzhou City, Guangxi Province] Ms. Lan Rongfang's Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Lan Rongfang was arrested by officers from the Jinshuian Community and Changfenglu Police Station on June 5, 2015. Her whereabouts is unknown.

13. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xu Liru Detained

Ms. Xu Liru was arrested at home by officers from the Sajianbao Police Station in Shunkou District on June 10, 2015. The police confiscated Falun Gong books. Ms. Xu is detained at the Ganjingzi District Drug Rehabilitation Center.

14. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Mr. Lei Detained

Mr. Lei was arrested in Yao Village of Jinyuan District on the evening of May 7, 2015. He is detained at the Beige Detention Center.

15. [Taian City, Shandong Province] Ms. Chang Lijun and Ms. Liu Faling Arrested

Ms. Chang Lijun and Ms. Liu Faling were arrested on June 10, 2015.

16. [Beijing] Mr. Song Guoying and Ms. Jia Shuchun Detained

Mr. Song Guoying and Ms. Jia Shuchun were arrested on the afternoon of May 13, 2015. They are detained at the Miyun County Detention Center.

17. [Leshan City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Li Yanjun Persecuted

Mr. Li Yanjun, a professor from the Xinan Petroleum University, was sentenced by the Luzhou Intermediate Court in November 2014. He is imprisoned at the Jiazhou Prison in Leshan City. His family visited him in May and learned that his teeth turned black. According to a doctor, this is a typical symptom of being poisoned.

Ms. Wang Liyan, Ms. Nie Guizhi, Ms. Li Yaqing, and Ms. Liu Shuqin were arrested by officers from the Dexiang Town Police Station on June 8, 2015, for distributing Shen Yun DVDs in Byan County. They were taken to the Jiangbei Brainwashing Center. Mr. Bai Jinchang was also arrested and taken to the brainwashing center that day.

19. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Zhou Xiaolan and Ms. Xu Genqin Arrested

Ms. Zhou Xiaolan and Ms. Xu Genqin were arrested on May 12, 2015. Ms. Zhou was detained at the Xinghua Brainwashing Center and then transferred to a detention center on June 8.

20. [Wuhu City, Anhui Province] Ms. Deng Qing and Ms. Meng Ling Detained

Ms. Deng Qing and Ms. Meng Ling were arrested by officers from the Wuhu City 610 Office, the Fanchang County 610 Office and the Domestic Security Division on May 8, 2015. The police ransacked their homes. They are detained at the Wuhu City Detention Center.

21. [Beijing] Mr. Liu Huirong Sentenced

Mr. Liu Huirong was sentenced to a three-year and six-month prison term by the Changping District Court on June 7, 2015.

22. [Leshan, Sichuan Province] Five Practitioners Sentenced

Five Falun Gong practitioners from Leshan were tried and sentenced on June 9, 2015. Wei Lang and Li Zhengdong were each given five and half years, while Yu Rongxiang, Zheng Zhirong, and Song Xuehui each received four-year prison terms. All five were arrested on October 31, 2014 while distributing materials exposing the persecution of Falun Gong. They remain at Shizhushan Detention Center, and it is not clear when they will be transferred to prison.
