(Minghui.org) Ms. Han Zhongcui's three-year prison term ends in July 2015. Officials at the Gansu Women's Prison have threatened to take her to a brainwashing center because she has refused to renounce her belief in Falun Gong.
Ms. Han is from Lanzhou City, Gansu Province. She has protested her unjust detention since she was taken to the Gansu Women's Prison. She refused to put on the prison uniform, and guards took to her to her cell wrapped in only a sheet.
Prison guards Zhu Hong, Ding Haiyan, and Sun Liwei ordered the inmates to torture her, including prolonged beatings, forced standing, denial of restroom use, sleep deprivation, and pressure to write statements that slandered Falun Dafa and its founder. Her family has been denied visitation rights.
The guards abused her throughout the three years. As her term about to end, the guards threatened to take her to a brainwashing center.
Ms. Han's mother, who is over 80 years old, and her sisters still do not know why she was imprisoned, which organization carried out the arrest, which Procurotorate prosecuted her case, or which court held the trial and issued the sentencing. Nor do they know who took her to the Gansu Women's Prison.
Liu Dongyu, the judge with the Chengguan Court, has not delivered a copy of the judgment to the family.
Under pressure of the Chinese Communist Party, Ms. Han's husband went along with the authorities in persecuting Ms. Han.
