(Minghui.org) I am a Falun Gong practitioner who started to practice in 2012. I was excited by the news that practitioners all over China were taking legal action against former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin. I shared the news with elderly practitioners in my area. We were not sure how to file a criminal complaint, but other practitioners told me to prepare one and that they would sign it.
We did not consult a lawyer, even though we had no idea how to write a legal complaint. In total, 137 practitioners signed it. We wrote why we wanted to file a criminal complaint against Jiang Zemin and what laws Jiang had violated in persecuting Falun Gong. We included details of individual persecution cases from more than 10 local practitioners. We mailed the complaint to the Supreme People's Procuratorate and uploaded an electronic copy of the complaint to Minghui.org.
I later checked the Minghui website a few times but couldn't find our complaint. I emailed the Minghui editors to check the status of our complaint but did not get a response. I noticed that the complaints posted on Minghui were all individually filed.
I decided that I should let it go and not worry about it, because 137 people had signed that joint complaint, and divine beings would know we had done this.
A few days later I had a dream. I was participating in a government-organized training session for jobless residents. The instructor called me several times and said my homework was wrong and that I needed to redo it. I ignored her. I thought the dream was reminding me that I had some attachment.
Two days later, I had a similar dream, in which the instructor of the training session again called me by name and told me I had problems with my subject and that I needed to redo my homework. I did not listen to her. I thought the dream was a hint that I had an attachment to fighting.
The next day I had another dream where I was in a bigger classroom. But this was not a training session. There were several hundred students in the room. The instructor was new and said to me at the end of the class, “Your test score is invalid. You need to stay and make up the exam.”
After I watched my classmates leave, the instructor said, “Did you see all the other students were catching the toad [Jiang Zemin is often referred to as a 'toad'] in the river?” I woke up.
I remembered hearing “catching the toad in the river” from my dream and the instructor telling me make up my homework in the two earlier dreams. I enlightened that Master Li was giving me a hint that our joint complaint was invalid, that we needed to file individual complaints against Jiang.
I had read an article in Minghui Weekly entitled “How to File Complaints against Jiang.” It explained that a complaint will only be registered if it includes a copy of the identity card of the person filing it. Our joint complaint did not include copies of our identity cards, so it was not valid.
I got up and saw that it was 4:30 a.m. I went to the Minghui website and saw an experience sharing article about practitioners who have not been detained or held in a forced labor camp or imprisoned filing complaints against Jiang. I have not been jailed or imprisoned so, following the article's suggestions, I filed a criminal complaint against Jiang for his role in persecuting Falun Gong and requested that the Supreme People's Procuratorate initiate an investigation and bring Jiang to justice.
