Aug. 21, 2015 |   By a practitioner in Montreal

(Mnighui.org) Falun Gong practitioners held activities at Place D'Youville in Quebec, Canada on August 15, 2015 to introduce the practice and draw attention to the persecution in China. They exposed the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) live organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners and collected signatures to help stop the atrocity.

Quebec City is the capital of Quebec Province. The weather was sunny and pleasant on the day of the event. There were many tourists from across the world on the square. Falun Gong practitioners wearing yellow T-shirt with the words “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Is Good” demonstrated the exercises. On a table in front of the square were flyers and other informational materials in English, French and Chinese. Practitioners talked about Falun Gong and the persecution to passers-by and distributed informational materials.

Three large banners at the back of the event location read “Falun Dafa is good,” “Persecution of Falun Gong is genocide,” and “Stop the CCP's live organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners.” A reenactment of the CCP's live organ harvesting was conducted to illustrate how medical facilities affiliated with the Chinese military, as well as the police and civilians are involved in the atrocity. The practitioners in the reenactment also answered questions from passers-by about the organ harvesting crimes.

Many people signed the petition calling for an end to the atrocities. Three Chinese tourists accepted informational materials and immediately renounced their CCP membership.

That evening the practitioners held a candlelight vigil to call for an end to the CCP's persecution and to commemorate fellow practitioners who died in the persecution.
