Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Shows Concern Over the Persecution of Falun Gong

(Minghui.org) Dr. Gerhard Doujak, Head of the Human Rights Department in Austria’s Federal Ministry of European and International Affairs, met with representatives of the Society for Threatened Peoples International (STPI), the Falun Dafa Association, and Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting (DAFOH) on July 20, 2015.

The three representatives had a discussion with Dr. Doujak about the persecution of Falun Gong and the state-sanctioned organ harvesting from unlawfully imprisoned Falun Gong practitioners in China.

Mr. Wang Yong, Chairman of the Austrian Falun Dafa Association, gave Dr. Doujak an update on the recent wave of lawsuits against Jiang Zemin, the former head of the CCP who is responsible for the persecution of Falun Gong. Dr. Doujak expressed his concern over the persecution and said he would do his best to help stop it through diplomatic channels.
