Police Officer Asks for Forgiveness

Sept. 19, 2015 |   By a Falun Gong practitioner in Henan Province, China

(Minghui.org) Right after my wife and I completed sending forth righteous thoughts at 6:10 p.m. on August 20, 2015, we heard a polite knock at the door. “Who is it,” we asked. “I am a police officer; may I come in?” We opened the door and let him in.

Before he could speak, we began to tell him about the lawsuit we had filed against Jiang Zemin in June. We described Jiang’s crime of persecuting Falun Gong and reminded him that Jiang Zemin’s hand-picked security star Zhou Yongkang is serving a life sentence. We told him that those in China’s law enforcement system have been heavily involved in the persecution.

The officer said, “Zhou Yongkang’s entire family is in jail. Falun Gong is a belief, and practicing Falun Gong is not against the law.”

I said, “I saw an interview with a legal expert on TV. According to the expert, any activity, if not declared illegal by law, is legal.” We told him about the ancient rock in Guizhou Province with “The Chinese Communist Party Perishes” carved into it. We told him that the Communist Party is like a meat grinder. It will not protect anyone and cannot be trusted.

The officer nodded as we spoke. He apologized for making disrespectful comments toward Falun Gong practitioners in the past, and he agreed to quit the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliates.

We are Dafa disciples, and we should follow Master’s teaching and assume a position of authority. These officers come to us to hear the truth and seek our help.
