People Visiting Houston’s Chinese Consulate for Visa Applications Support Lawsuit Against Former Chinese Dictator Jiang Zemin

Sept. 20, 2015 |   By Minghui correspondent Shu Jing

(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners recently explained the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong to people coming to the Chinese Consulate in Houston for visa applications. They also informed them about the current lawsuits against Jiang Zemin, former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), for his abuses of power in orchestrating the persecution of Falun Gong in China.

Two Falun Gong practitioners hold posters with information about the persecution of Falun Gong in China to show to visa applicants in line in front of Houston’s Chinese Consulate.

Supporting Lawsuit Against Jiang

Practitioner Rebecca told a middle-aged lady that more than 170,000 people had filed criminal complainants against Jiang. The lady said, “I know more than you. We are spreading news about Jiang in social media.” She showed Rebecca images on her smart phone about removing Jiang inscriptions in front of some government buildings. She asked Rebecca to spread them to more people.

A middle-aged lady from Shanghai asked Rebecca excitedly after seeing the banners worded, “Suing Jiang Zemin.” She asked, “Has Jiang Zemin been arrested?” Rebecca answered, “He will likely be arrested in the future.”

Rebecca asked the lady whether she had quit the Party. She said, “I never joined the Party. My family was harassed in past political movements. My hand was injured as a result. I came abroad with the help of my family. The CCP is going to collapse!”

Renouncing the Party

Rebecca gave a flyer to a lady in her thirties who came out of the consulate. Rebecca told her about renouncing the CCP, and asked her whether she had joined the Party. The lady said, “I have read the information. I joined the CCP Youth League.” Rebecca said, “You should quit it.”

“The CCP is going to collapse,” she said quietly to Rebecca's ear. Rebecca gave her a pseudonym to quit the CCP Youth League. She was pleased and said, “Thank you. You work hard. The Party is very bad. I salute you from the bottom of my heart.”

Practitioner Davina handed a flyer to a man in his forties who came out of the consulate. “Hi, have you heard about withdrawing from the CCP for a safe future?” The man asked, “Are you against the government?”

“We are not against the government, but advise people to withdraw from the Party for a safe future.” said Davina. The man asked Davina about the CCP-staged Tiananmen self-immolation incident. Davina explained to him that the CCP had staged the incident to frame Falun Gong, to justify the persecution of innocent practitioners, and showed him the poster with information about the CCP's live organ harvesting. The man was indignant and renounced the Party on the spot.

Practitioner Rebecca talked with a middle-aged man about withdrawing from the CCP. The man said in low voice, “I am afraid that the Consulate would deny my visa application if I quit the Party.”

Rebecca said, “If you quit, you may get your visa faster, as divine beings will protect you.” The man agreed and said in low voice, “Use the name Yu An.”

A family of three was waiting for a bus in front of the consulate. Rebecca handed the husband a flyer. But the lady was a bit worried, “There is a surveillance camera in front of the building.” The husband became a little worried and placed the flyer on the ground beside his bag. He looked around and realized that others were accepting flyers without hesitation. He placed the flyer in his bag right away.
