Sept. 23, 2015 |   By a Falun Dafa practitioner in Taiwan

(Minghui.org) The Keelung's annual folk arts festival, also called the Keelung Ghost Festival, which started in 1855, is regarded as one of Taiwan's trademark folk galas. Falun Dafa practitioners participated in the festival parade on August 27, 2015.

The Falun Dafa procession was warmly received, with the Divine Land Marching Band, practitioners dressed as celestial maidens, and a beautifully decorated float with practitioners demonstrating the Falun Dafa exercises.

The Divine Land Marching Band, consisting of more than 200 Falun Gong practitioners, participated in the parade for the ninth year, and performed for three to four hours. A team of practitioners dressed as celestial maidens distributed hand-folded paper lotus flowers printed with the words “Falun Dafa is Good.” People on the parade route happily accepted the beautiful flowers and informational materials about Falun Dafa.

When the Falun Dafa procession passed the main observation stage, the host introduced the practitioners as follows:

“Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong, is an advanced cultivation practice created by Mr. Li Hongzhi. Falun Dafa has been practiced in over 100 countries and regions around the world. It has benefited more than 100 million practitioners who assimilate to the characteristics of the cosmos, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and improve themselves physically, mentally and spiritually.”
