(Minghui.org) I am a 56 year-old former Falun Gong practitioner who resides in Yanjia Village, Lidao Town, Rongcheng City, Shandong Province.
I practiced Falun Gong for about six months in 1999, just before the onset of the persecution. With pressure from my family members who were scared of the nation-wide persecution, I stopped practicing Falun Gong.
In April 2015, I developed a persistent cough, and other flu-like symptoms. Despite taking medication and injections, the condition did not improve. I went to the township hospital for a thorough checkup, and the doctor told me that I had a lot of water in my lungs. I was hospitalized and treated with injections and medications, but my condition did not improve. I was then transferred to the Rongcheng City Hospital and diagnosed with late-stage lung cancer. I was given another three months to live.
My impending death was scary, but the pain of living was unbearable. I was not able to lie down, and could only rest by napping in a sitting position for two hours at a time. My family took me to the Weihai City Hospital, where the doctors drilled a hole in my back and drew a lot of water from my lungs.
A Falun Gong practitioner in the village visited me one day. She told me that only Falun Gong and Master Li, the founder the practice, could help me. She asked me to recite “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” My desire to live motivated me to listen to her advice. She helped me buy an MP3 audio player, so I could listen to Teacher's lectures, and she taught me the exercises. My health began to improve after several days.
I experienced an entire night of vomiting and diarrhea 15 days later. I recovered, and after practicing Falun Gong for two months, not only was I able to eat and drink like a normal person, I could also do some household chores.
Falun Gong is miraculous! The compassionate and merciful Teacher of this practice gave me a second life! I cannot deny and forget what Teacher has done for me.
Therefore, I have filed a lawsuit against Jiang Zemin, the former head of the Chinese communist regime, who is responsible for the persecution. I wish to show that I support the movement of upholding justice.
