(Minghui.org) When my son was born in 2003, he was a healthy and happy baby. We loved him very much. But he became sick when he was nine months old and only kept getting sicker. He developed asthma as well. The pediatrician said that his immune system was weak, and that he needed to take Chinese herbal medicine to supplement the hospital treatment.

My son and I took turns getting sick from that point on. Whenever he wasn't sick, I was.

My mother-in-law was very worried for both of us, and found a shaman who she believed could make things better for us. However, after several rounds of that treatment we got worse. My son had fevers and trouble breathing every night. I had to hold and rock him night after night. We went to numerous hospitals and tried all sorts of treatments, but his symptoms continued.

This experience took a toll on me, as well. I felt that I had aged a great deal in just five years.

My period became wildly irregular, and eventually became nonstop. Nothing could stop the bleeding. After two months of continuous bleeding, the doctor finally told me that he'd given up and could not help me. I was frightened.

I felt dizzy and weak, as if I were constantly walking on cotton. My heart was broken when I looked at my fragile son, and it hurt even more to know that my own life was slipping away.

I told my husband that if something happened to me, make sure to find someone who would care for and love both him and our son. My husband told me to stop the nonsense. He told me I would get well, and that I was not sick.

At that time, I was taking a large amount of medicine for my irregular bleeding and anemia on a daily basis, but to no effect.

It just so happened that my neighbor practiced Falun Gong and she would often bring me material regarding her practice. I was deceived by the CCP propaganda at first, and never paid attention to the material.

When I visited her one day, she just so happened to be watching Master's lectures. After the video, she told me that reading the book also helps. With nothing to lose, I thought that I should give it a try. I took a copy of Zhuan Falun home. That was back in 2008.

I began reading that night – as I read, my body felt warm and comfortable, and the effect on my son was even more amazing. His celestial eye opened shortly thereafter, and he told me, “Mom, Heaven's gate is really opening, and there are many gods coming out of it!”

My energy came back little by little, and my son's asthma also improved. Several months later, we both recovered completely. I was able to help my husband with chores and later found a job.

Others kept asking me, “What happened to you? You look so young and energetic. Wait, did you get taller?”

I told them that when I was facing death, it was Falun Gong that saved me and my family. My son is thirteen years old now, a healthy and happy young man.

After witnessing the enormous change in my son and me, my family supported our choice. My mother-in-law and sister-in-law also began practicing Falun Gong. I am deeply grateful for Master's saving grace.
