My Understanding of “With Regard to What You Want, Both Falun and My Fashen Will Not Intervene”

Jan. 9, 2016 |   by Qingxin, a Falun Dafa practitioner in China

(Minghui.org) Master said in Zhuan Falun, “With regard to what you want, both Falun and my fashen will not intervene - this is for sure.”

I used to think that this was about not undertaking two schools of practice at the same time. I didn’t pay much attention to it because I didn’t think it had much to do with me, as my celestial eye is not open and I certainly won’t practice any other cultivation way. But Master had spoken of this on more than one occasion.

I recently gained a new understanding of this sentence while memorizing and reciting the book paragraph by paragraph.

It is this: There exists a principle in the universe - whatever you want, nobody can intervene. The superficial understanding I used to have was that nobody can intervene if someone wants bad things, i.e. if a person is to become bad and wants bad things, a righteous being cannot intervene. But what about the reverse: if a person wants to be good, can a negative being interfere? The answer of course is no!

When Master first started teaching Dafa, the old forces kept some people from learning it. Perhaps this person didn’t have such a strong desire to learn the Fa. The old forces thus created all sorts of interference so that this person does not see how precious the Fa is. The old forces would not dare prevent the person from obtaining the Fa directly. Instead they would strengthen this person’s attachments so that he is controlled by his notions and karma, and consequently gives up learning Dafa on his own.

As I understand it, during the process of Fa-rectification, the old forces arranged the entire course of Dafa disciples’ cultivation, and also arranged Dafa disciples' paths in saving sentient beings. When Dafa disciples try to save sentient beings, some people agree with Dafa and want to be saved, if the old forces think them unworthy of being saved and insist on eliminating them, this would violate the Fa of the universe.

Similarly when a Dafa disciple is going through a tribulation, he wants to assimilate to the Fa and wants to get rid of his attachments; but there are some attachments he does not even know he has; or his attachment to fear or some other thing were intensified by the old forces. The old forces then use this excuse and insist on weeding out this practitioner. That’s not what Master wants, nor does it conform to the Fa because when someone learns Dafa, this person is looked after by Master even if he has shortcomings in his cultivation.

Master is benevolent to all disciples, including those who had made mistakes during Fa rectification, as long as this person still wants to cultivate the Fa and assimilate to the Fa. Master looks after him and others are not allowed to intervene. Anyone who stops him from obtaining the Fa is committing a sin.

My understanding is that during the Fa rectification, if a person is studying the Fa and proactively assimilates to the Fa, then the old forces cannot intervene even if the person had committed this or that kind of sin in the past. The old forces cannot prevent the person from obtaining the Fa or destroy the person using this or that excuse.

Therefore it is very important for Dafa disciples to study the Fa because we are the lords of many lives at a high level. When we study the Fa, so do they. The old forces dare not touch them when they assimilate to Dafa, no matter how much the old forces despise them, because doing so would be violating this principle of the universe. This is my understanding of another aspect of the importance of studying the Fa well.

I know that there are further profound meanings behind this sentence. I cannot yet clearly understand or am unable to express them. Please point out anything that is inappropriate in my understanding.
