(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 6 provinces. According to this report, 11 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 8 were illegally arrested.

1. [Shanghai] Three Practitioners Facing Trials

On September 20, Ms. Zhu Hua and Ms. Li Shuqing of Pudong District face Trials. Ms. Weng Ping will be Tried on September 18, 2016.

2. [Shanghai] Ms. Zhang Xiuying Detained

Officers from Puxinglu Police Station arrested Ms. Zhang Xiuying of Pudong District on July 31, 2016, An arrest warrant was issued on August 18. She is detained at Pudong District Detention Center.

3. [Linjiang City, Jilin Province] Husband Died While Wife Arrested

The Linjiang Domestic Security Division arrested Ms. Shi Fengxia and Ms. Tan Jinmei. They are being held at Baishan Detention Center. When Ms. Tan's husband was in his 50s, he had a stroke. After his wife's arrest and their house was ransacked his health deteriorated quickly. He died within the next month.

4. [Baishan City, Jilin Province] Two Practitioners' homes were SearchedOfficers from Xinjian Police Station searched the homes of Ms. Li Yan and Mr. Liu Guanghai on September 12, 2016. The officers confiscated cash worth 23,000 yuan, 3 printers, 2 disc burners, and discs.

5. [Nanchong City, Sichuan Province] Three Arrested, One Still in Detention

While they were hanging Falun Gong fliers outdoors, Ms Lai Qixiu and two other practitioners were arrested. The two were released at night after police took records, while Ms. Lai was held in police station. Her motorcycle and cell phone were confiscated. Police searched their homes the next day. Ms. Lai was subjected to criminal detention. She is held at Nanchong City Detention Center.

6. [Shouguang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Xiurong Arrested

Ms. Wang Xiurong was out telling people about the persecution of Falun Gong on September 12, 2016, when she was arrested.

7. [Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province] A Couple Detained

Ms. Huang Lingyan and her husband Mr. Feng Dijian are held at Sihui Detention Center.

8. [Xinxiang City, Henan Province] Two Practitioners Detained

On the morning of September 8, 2016, officers from the Domestic Security Division arrested from their homes, Ms. Wang Qingmei (in her sixties) from Hui County and a practitioner with the family name Yuan. They are being held at a detention center where they were subjected to physical exams and blood test.

9. [Lishui City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Shen Yanxia Detained

During the evening of September 8, 2016, Ms. Shen Yanxia was taken to Lishui Detention Center.

10. [Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Niu Zixia Detained for 13 Days

Ms. Niu Zixia was detained for 13 days because of 2016 G20 Hangzhou Summit. She was released on September 8, 2016.

11. [Jintang County, Sichuan Province] Falun Gong Practitioners and Their Families Arrested and Harassed

Police Officers arrested Ms. Zhao Surong’s son and daughter-in-law on the night of August 31, 2016. Ms. Zhao’s daughter-in-law was pregnant and close to her due date. Police took her away and treated her roughly. The next day she was released. The officers went to Ms. Zhao’s home looking for her. They claimed that Ms. Zhao and her husband must turn themselves in, in exchange for their son's release.

Four officers went to search Ms. Huang Jiaxiao’s home on the night of August 31, 2016. They forced their way into the home, dragged her down from the fourth floor and carried her into a police vehicle. Ms. Huang was taken to Shuicheng Police Station, and released late that night.

Mr. Fan Mingkai and wife He Furong were arrested on the night of August 31, 2016. Their computers and printers were taken. Their son – in a technical school – was taken from his school at noon on September 2, confined at home and watched by other relatives.

Police offices went to harass Mr. Liang Xingpu but did not take him because of his age – 82 years old.

Officers also went to search Ms. Gong Daying and Ms. Fan Zengxiu’s homes.
