(Minghui.org) I teamed up with another Falun Dafa practitioner, Lian (an alias), so we could go out and talk to people about Dafa and the persecution.
She has a family and is busy with the housework and taking care of her son, so we set up a time to meet every day to go out and to talk to people. I sit on the back of her electric powered bike and we ride to different districts and talk to people of all kinds.
We stop at hospitals, bus stops, markets—anywhere we can let people know about Falun Dafa and help them quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
People have cursed at us and reported us to the police, but many have thanked us.
No matter how people behave, we always treat them with compassion and ask them to remember “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” We don't pick and choose who we talk with. We take every opportunity to speak with people and give them a chance to quit the CCP.
We approached two people sitting in a car in a nearby district one day. The windows were rolled down. Lian went to one side of the car and I went to the other. We only realized that they were plainclothes officers after we started talking to them. They didn't want to listen to us and wanted to arrest us. We sent forth righteous thoughts and asked Master to protect us.
Lian talked to the man who stepped out of the car, while I spoke to the one still inside. I said, “I'm not asking you to learn Falun Dafa. I just want to let you know that Falun Dafa is a good practice. The CCP has persecuted so many practitioners. They have forcibly harvested their organs for profit. Do you think heaven will let the CCP get away with their crimes? I urge you to withdraw from the Party to protect yourself from future disasters. And remember these words, 'Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.'”
We talked compassionately with them for some time. In the end, both officers quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. We were very grateful for Master's help.
We met two police officers in another district. My instinct was to walk away, but then I recalled Master's words,
“I calculated their ages now, and from when I started to spread the Fa till now, they would be young people around twenty-five years old, many of whom really have not been saved. They were all Gods...” (“Fa Teaching at the 2016 New York Fa Conference”)
Both officers seemed to be around that age, the same age as my son. I told Lian that we should try to save them. Lian agreed, and we recited Master's poem together,
“Compassion can harmonize Heaven and Earth, ushering in springRighteous thoughts can save the people in this world” (“The Fa Rectifies the Cosmos” in Hong Yin II)
We also sent forth righteous thoughts and asked Master for help.
We told the officers about Falun Dafa, why the CCP persecutes us, forced organ harvesting, and the staged self-immolation incident. We also let them know that 210,000 people have sent criminal complaints to the Supreme People’s Court and Procuratorate suing Jiang Zemin, the former head of the CCP, for initiating the persecution of Falun Dafa.
They listened quietly and quit the CCP after we had finished talking to them.
Lian and I put up posters with information about Falun Dafa about once a week. Lian needs to be home in the evenings to take care of her young son, so we do it during the day.
We put them up in areas where a lot of people will see them and choose a time to put up the posters when no one's around.
One time when we found an empty wall, all of a sudden crowds of people showed up. We sent forth righteous thoughts to disperse them, and they soon went away. We then put the posters.
