Nov. 20, 2016 |   By a Minghui correspondent in Hebei Province, China

(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Lu Yan was tried in the North District Court of Tangshan City, Hebei Province on November 1, 2016. Among the prosecution evidence was a blank piece of paper.

Ms. Lu is charged with “using a cult to undermine law enforcement,” a standard pretext used by the Chinese communist regime to imprison Falun Gong practitioners in its campaign to eradicate the spiritual discipline.

The indictment by the North District Procuratorate against Lu Yan also stated, “the above Falun Dafa materials are against the Chinese Communist Party and its system of socialism.”

The same court also tried a 72-year-old Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Bai Meifen on the same day. Ms. Bai experienced serious motion sickness before arriving at the court. She threw up often during the proceedings and could not walk normally.

Both women were taken back to Tangshan City No. 1 Detention Center after the court session.
