(Minghui.org) The Minghui editorial notice published on February 22 explicitly said, “This notice once again apprises all practitioners, regardless of whether you are in mainland China or overseas, to please immediately destroy all Shen Yun videos and DVDs in your possession and stop distributing the China-only edition of Shen Yun DVDs.” (“Notice to Stop Distributing All Mainland China-only Editions of Shen Yun DVDs”)

To be honest, I was shocked when I first read this notice. Although I knew this was Master's requirement and that we must strictly follow it, it still felt hard, deep in my heart, to delete all the video files of Shen Yun that I had collected over years.

I have collected Shen Yun DVDs and video files since 2007. Every year many practitioners, including me, waited for Shen Yun's new program. To us, one of the happiest things was to watch the excellent performances, which are guided by Master, and are profound and touching.

During the last few years, many people who watched the Shen Yun performances sensed the beauty of Dafa and gained salvation. Shen Yun is an avenue that Master created for us to save more people.

But many practitioners in mainland China conducted themselves based on their own preferences. Going against Master's requirements, they took Shen Yun DVDs overseas and interfered with Master's arrangements in Fa-rectification. Through the Minghui editorial board's notices, Master gave us several warnings and told us how to correct our mistakes.

But some practitioners still ignored the notices. Their excuse was that Minghui notices are not Master's Fa. This is so wrong. Will those practitioners really listen to Master's teachings? Not really. At the last few Fa conferences, Master has already explained several times why practitioners should not bring Shen Yun DVDs overseas.

Even worse, some practitioners complained about the notice instead of looking inward.

My personal understanding is that our actions reflect whether we have solid trust in Master and the Fa. We must strictly follow Master's requirements. It is a test for every one of us on the journey of cultivation. If we don't treat this seriously, the old forces will use it as an excuse to persecute us.

I suggest that every practitioner should truly look inward and calmly read Master's article “What Does it Mean to 'Help Master Rectify the Fa.” We should seriously think about what problems we have in cultivation and how we should help Master rectify the Fa.
