(Minghui.org) Many Falun Gong practitioners in Guizhou Province have had blood samples drawn against their will since 2014.
One police officer revealed that the directive to obtain blood samples was given by the Guizhou Province Public Security Bureau. Blood samples are to be secured from all those who practice or who have practiced Falun Gong, in order to construct a DNA database.
Many affected practitioners suspect that the database is being established to facilitate involuntary organ donations. Numerous witness reports reveal that thousands of Falun Gong practitioners have been killed for their organs, which are sold for profit in the transplant industry.
Below are two new cases that have surfaced in Guizhou.
Practitioner Ms. Liao Yuan was on her way home around noon on March 16 when a man walked up and struck up a conversation about the demolition in her area.
When they were near her home, policewoman Han Liping appeared and pushed Ms. Liao up against a wall. She pinned Ms. Liao with her arms and knees, and shouted for the man to jab her quickly. He jabbed her in the hand seven times.
After they had collected a sample of her blood, they released her and ran off. Ms. Liao was astonished and angry, shouting that she intended to take legal action against them.
This was not the first time that Officer Han had forcibly collected a blood sample from practitioners.
At night on April 23, 2014, Officer Han and four others went to the home of practitioner Ms. Tang Wenzhen.
They insisted that she open the door. When she complied, Han told Ms. Tang to have her blood sample drawn, saying that they were worried about her health since she was on her own.
Ms. Tang refused repeatedly. Han then threatened her, “If you don’t, we'll ransack your home. If you don't want that to happen, let us collect a sample of your blood, and then we’ll leave.”
Ms. Tang complied reluctantly. Once the sample was collected, Han told Ms. Tang to sign a document. She refused. Han called two more people in and ransacked the place. They took away many Falun Gong materials, such as DVDs, photos of Master Li, books, and an MP3 player.
