Ms. Guo Mingqing was arrested by officers from the Yuetang District Domestic Security Division when telling people about the persecution of Falun Gong on the evening of March 21, 2016. She was secretly held at a detention center.

2. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Officers from the Yongantai Police Station went to Ms. Tian Caiying's home and arrested her on the morning of April 22, 2016. They confiscated Falun Gong books, a printer, a notebook computer, and about 90,000 yuan in cash. Ms. Kang Xiaoqin, her sister Ms. Kang Xiaohua, and Mr. Geng Xiangwu were also arrested. Mr. Geng has returned home after failing the physical examination. Ms. Tian and both Ms. Kang sisters were taken to the Fushun Detention Center.

3. [Shanghai] Ms. Qiu Xiaomin Detained

Ms. Qiu Xiaomin was arrested at home by officers from the Jing'an District Domestic Security Division on April 28, 2016. She was held in the Jing'an Detention Center.

4. [Loudi City, Hunan Province] Mr. Luo Yangsheng Arrested

Mr. Luo Yangsheng from Xinhua County was arrested by Liu Yanqing, director of the Shangmei Town Police Station, and other officers when telling people about the persecution of Falun Gong in the Fenglin Area, Shangmei Town at noon on April 29, 2016. Mr. Luo was released that evening because of her high blood pressure.

5. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Lan Juxiang Detained

Ms. Lan Juxiang from Oujiakuang Village in Linglong Town was arrested by plainclothes officers on the morning of April 29, 2016, for suing former Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin. She was detained for 10 days in the Zhaoyuan City Detention Center.

Mr. Huang Shiqing, his wife, and over 40 practitioners from Yongxiu County were arrested when taking a group photo on April 23, 2016.

The officers ransacked her home and confiscated a notebook computer, an MP5 player, paper bills with Falun Gong information printed on them, and other items. She was released four days later.

Mr. Chen Yingxiang and his wife Ms. Yan Shaoyan were arrested at their clothing store by officers from the Dongguan Domestic Security Division at noon on April 27, 2016. The officers confiscated Falun Gong books, printed materials, a computer, a printer, and other personal belongings.

Mr. Chen was released the following night. Ms. Yan was taken to the Dongguan City No. 2 Detention Center.
