1. [Beijing] Four Practitioners Arrested, Ms. Yang Abused by Police

Mr. Lu Yongsheng, Ms. Yang Jinxia, Mr. Hu Xiaolu, and Ms. Li Haiying of Yongning Town, Yanqing County were arrested and taken to the Yongning Police Station on the morning of April 30, 2016, when they were telling others about the persecution of Falun Gong.

Ms. Yang was brutally beaten by officers. They grabbed her hair and pulled her head and face to the ground. Ms. Yang was dazed. Her face was injured and her head was bleeding. The officers sprayed unknown liquid in her face. Red welts popped up on her face immediately. She suffered unbearable itching on her face.

Mr. Zeng Liwen, owner of the Longshaoye Food Factory, was arrested on the evening of May 1, 2016, by officers from the Dongkou County Police Department. He was detained at the Dongkou County Detention Center. His family tried to visit him but was denied.

Ms. Guan Yanping, principal of Jinzhou City Primary School, was arrested on the morning of May 5, 2016, by plainclothes officers. The police ransacked her home. She is currently incarcerated at the Jinzhou City Detention Center.

4. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Yuan Guoxiang Sentenced to Five Years in Prison

Ms. Yuan Guoxiang was tried on April 29, 2016, by the Xinjian District Court. She was sentenced to five years in prison.

Ms. Zheng Guiying of Chancheng District was arrested on March 26, 2016, by officers from the Nanhai Police Station. The police ransacked her home. Her whereabouts are unknown.

Mr. Wan Yunlong was arrested on May 6, 2016. Police seized his engraving machine, computer, Falun Dafa books, and other personal belongings.

Mr. Zhang Hanqing of Laiyang City was arrested on May 6, 2016, by officer Ma Shuguang and others from the Laiyang Domestic Security Division. The police ransacked his home.

Mr. Shi Zhongkui of Lanshan District was arrested at home on May 4, 2016. Police ransacked her home, seized her printer, notebook computer, Falun Dafa books, and materials. He is incarcerated at a detention center.

11. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Gao Yonghui Arrested

Mr. Gao Yonghui of Chengdu City was arrested at his daughter's home in Hanlinnancheng, Shuangliu County on the evening of May 7, 2016, by officers from the Shuangliu Domestic Security Division and Shuangliu Criminal Investigation Division. Police seized his notebook computer, two cell phones, multiple SIM cards, and Falun Dafa informational materials.

Ms. Ma Xueqing, 47, and Ms. Li Jinling, over 60, were arrested on the evening of May 3, 2016, by officers from the Guilin Police Station. The officers ransacked their homes. They are incarcerated at the Yaojia Detention Center.
