According to this report, 8 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 6 were illegally arrested. Several practitioners seeking to mail letters of complaint regarding Jiang Zemin to the Supreme People's Procuratorate and the Supreme Court have met with obstacles.

1. [Hengshui City, Hebei Province] Ms. Cui Yongfen Detained

Ms. Cui Yongfen, arrested on August 25, 2014, passed out during the second trial held by Jing County Court recently. When her family went to the Hengshui City Detention Center to see her, they were told she was transferred to Shijiazhuang Prison.

2. [Gaomi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Sun Shuping Leaves Home to Avoid Persecution

Ms. Sun Shuping was harassed by the local village head at her home on April 18, 2016. Instructed by Guo Chengming (郭成明), director of Heya 610 Office, the village head demanded that Ms. Sun go to Gaomi Brainwashing Center the next day. Ms. Sun had to leave home to avoid further persecution. She was harassed several times by officers from Heya 610 Office last year.

3 [Jianchang County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yan Guilan Arrested

Ms. Yan Guilan was harassed and arrested at home by Guo Wanguo, director, and Yu Haisen, from the Yangshuwanzi Town Police Station on April 15, 2016. The police confiscated two Falun Gong books and other printed teachings and volumes of Minghui Weekly.

Ms. Yan was taken to the Jianchang County Police Department. The police took her to the Huludao City Detention Center. The detention center refused to admit her because she failed the physical examination. Guo and Yu demanded her daughter write a guarantee statement.

4. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Gu Qingmei and Ms. Zhang Detained

Ms. Gu Qingmei was arrested at home by officers from the Zhangzhuang Police Station on April 15, 2016, for suing former Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin. She is detained at the Jinan City Detention Center. The police tried to arrest her the day before but she was not at home.

Ms. Zhang, 70, was also arrested by officers from Zhangzhuang Police Station on the same day. She was taken to a detention center.

Ms. Wei Chunrong was tried on April 22, 2016.

6. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Sun Yun Detained

Ms. Sun Yun was arrested by officers from the Lingzi Town Police Station on April 12, 2016, for suing Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese dictator. She was detained at the Zichuan Detention Center for 12 days.

7. [Heyuan City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Ling Yuxing's and Ms. Jie Liping's Homes Ransacked

Mr. Ling Yuxing and Ms. Jie Liping had their homes ransacked by officers from 610 Office on April 13, 2016.

8. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Sun Guangpu Detained

Mr. Sun Guangpu was arrested at home by officers from the Changchun City Domestic Security Division and Changjiu Road Police Station on March 9, 2016. The police confiscated computers and Falun Gong books. He is detained at the Changchun City No. 4 Detention Center.

9. [Maanshan City, Anhui Province] Ms. Meng Suyun Detained

Ms. Meng Suyun is detained at Shuangdun Women's Prison. Her family recently went to see her but the prison refused them.

10. [Tianjin] Mr. Hua Lianyou Holds Hunger Strikes

Mr. Hua Lianyou was arrested by officers from the Jiarongli Police Station on April 14, 2016. He is detained at Binhai Prison and has been holding hunger strikes to protest the persecution. He has been subjected to force-feeding since April 14. As a result he was taken to Xinsheng Hospital.

Ms. Shou Jianfeng was arrested and taken to a brainwashing center at home by two dozen officers on April 15, 2016.

12. [Liaocheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Chen Youling Interrogated

Ms. Chen Youling, retired from a bus factory, was deceived by Li, a former co-worker, to come to the factory on April 15, 2016. She was interrogated there for suing Jiang Zemin.
